I don't say this to start anything, just pondering on it. Who is worst, Darth for what he did/doing or Slonique for what he isn't doing which is complete one game before starting another?

honestly...

i prefer a guy who start tons of games and never finish them, instead of a dude who start game with the only purpose to scam.
at least Slonique didnt fill his games with forced patreon/paywall things all over.

I don't believe we will be able to tell with 100% conviction is he the other guy or not. Personally I will wait for future update(s) and based on quality and quantity decide if he meets my criteria to become patron. There is always hope he will be making great game.

Ok here is my advice to you StarLord.
You can listen or not, do how you wish. I hope you are telling the truth and you are not DarthSmut.
If you continue working on this game take some advice from ppl here, some have already mentioned about legal problems, so you should change some things. As far as i know disney might not care much if you place this in legend era since they retcond everything that happened in comics, books, short stories and games like TOR and KOTOR that deal with time frame before the movies.
As for cannon if you went for example with a character who is a Sith and try`s to gain more power through passion by sleeping around that would have some base in canon, but in the end you are creating this game so it`s your choice.

but a quick check at the discord.. there is no "Path of lust" section or any other game section except for The Death Star Trainer...

And there is only 2 sith lord there... DS and someone else that seem to join on March 15, 2019
No one named Star Lord joined the discord on May 11 or after that...
No user that joined the discord obtain a different rank from normal people that join the discord...
No mention of the path of lust game in the discord...

So.. Either this guy join using different name and didn't ask for a special role or he/she may not join the discord (the later are more likely if this guy and DS are different person)

Clarification: I'm not saying they're the same person or different person since I don't F@cking know~ Just wanted to see if I can find anything to help with finding the truth of "is this guy the same person as DS?"~ (Spoiler: I don't know lol~)

PSA for developers of the world, but mostly Patreon creators, "demo" stands for Demonstration, you got to use it to show you have a good product, especially in a market that already has grown lots of competition and good one too.
You can't start growing carrots and then bring your seeds to the table when they have just started sprouting the roots, sure we can see you started growing them, but we can't taste them yet.

You need a good DEMO to pitch it, think of the good kickstarters.

Well back to waiting for a good lewd star wars game, the only one I actually liked was screw wars and well that one didn't end so well. Didn't know about Darth Smut drama but seeing that and in addition the screw wars guy went to "work" with him on DS's game makes this all the more complicated.

Probably nothing here to see, even if its not the guy its still only a tech demo and me and a bunch of people like a good chunk of content before taking a bite.

Frankly, just for having "Star Wars" title in the headline of a game would ring the bells for Disney to sue the creator or send a "friendly" ultimatum to completely scrap the project. Fortunately, Disney doesn't tinker with minor sites/projects that don't attract a colossal publicity attention, Apeiron's: Star Wars aka KOTOR fan remake in UE4 (devs attempted to disguise it as conversion MOD for KOTOR, contrarily it turned out to be a whole new game) trial and errored this play and were shut down by Lucasfilm eventually.

Nah cause he's getting money from it. His whole Patreon is literally dedicated to Star Wars, and Disney isn't a fan at all about Porn parodies that have all the Names, Species, and Themes of their Licenses, especially Lucasfilm Star Wars.

You can obtain money from something and still have it qualify as a parody under free use:
'Weird Al' Yankovic has made a career off of it.

Technically, it doesn't even have to be a parody, just use of limited snippets for educational purposes or use in a manner where the IP/copyrighted work takes a backseat to some other content. Voiceover commentary a la MST3K, sufficient change in presentation can also qualify it.
Problems, generally, are with free use having a definition, but no clear lines in the sand for what is protected and what isn't, making going to court or otherwise ignoring C&D a very risky proposition.


The issue here is that this is wholesale use of IP for money, with very little protective argument that this is anything other than exploitation of a popular IP for money.
In particular, apparently some of the music is directly from the series, and logos as well, if other users here are to be believed.

I don’t want to prove anything to anyone, I’m here to present my game. Although, on the other hand, I am a little hurt that they take me for someone else and that my work suffers because this someone is asshole.

As for the tips and wishes regarding the game - I always listen to them with pleasure, and if this does not go against my story, I will easily use your advices in the develop.

With regard to copyright and everything connected with them. I want to make a game, which will be interesting to fans of the universe of SW. If a change everything so that Disney has nothing to complain about - it will no longer be Star Wars, but just some kind of game. And not the fact that it will be interesting to someone. I might as well take on a completely different project, and I have enough ideas. But I myself have always lacked exactly the game for adults in the universe of SW. And since I have all the necessary knowledge, I decided to do it myself. I think many Star Wars fans will support me in this. And if they prompt this way to change the game, so that it would be also interesting for them to play it, but at the same time the problems with copyright disappeared - I will do it with joy.

they are no need to be 100% identical to be recognize at it. this will only push you in troubles.
