Society has reached a new level of immorality when people who are so impatient they can't wait a few extra days to get something free start calling those who don't provide the free thing sooner morality upholding messiahs...

'Few extra days' may be a case here but that's a month for a public release on some other threads. Certain dev left me an angry emote just the other day when I posted the newest version of his game before public was out lol.
The whole point of a pirate site is getting paid things for 'free' not waiting for free versions of it from a dev. Luckily not every thread is like that and there are other places for getting these games sometimes.

That's the point of a pirate site.
Nice job adding the "not waiting for free versions of it from a dev" though, but that's only a point for the really bad, impatient pirates, not the whole (only or even primary) point...
Even pirates had a code...
If piracy becomes too detrimental, the smaller devs stop creating, less opportunities/products to consume.
It's something of a symbiotic relationship that has to find, maintain some sort of balance. If the parasite kills its host, the parasite dies, too...

I would argue that majority of 'Impatient pirates' won't become paying customers just because of timed releases. Instead, they will either move to different games, search for the game elsewhere or return later to pick up the freebie.That's the point of a pirate site.

And piracy is not all cons and 'killing the host'. Sometimes 'host's' game get known through 'parasite' sites and some people decide to support the dev genuinely if they really like the game.
I'm not saying piracy isn't damaging btw, just that you won't turn substantial amount of pirates into supports through timed releases no matter how impatient and horny they are.
