It looks like the Dev here is dead. 
The last update on patreon is 2018, multiple replies on it from people asking if the dev is still alive. No response.

it doesn't matter if it's abandoned if it has enough individual content to be a satisfying experience for some time. even so, reading the changelog now, that doesn't seem to be the case anyway...
