you are talking shit, the dev of this game is the fastest that i've seen it, every 3 months he is there with the update with no latenes
Maybe. But this dev works with the exact same MO on all his games since Fate of Irnia.

> commission artwork
> add 1 linear sex scene
> write a few cringe/cliché dialogue lines as filler
> there ya go, another 5-minute update

His games just don't have any form of soul. No situations or people anyone could relate to, nothing entertaining, and worst of all no gameplay.

I dunno. With Winterlook it just feels like he can't get over the hump. He has these universes built-up very well on macro level. The worlds he creates at base levels are great. But when it comes down to filling out the details here and there - that's where he starts to miss his shots.
Like, Shelter: it had so much opportunities. Create a conflict, then build up on it. Raiders and their leader as the boss had so many ways to be written out in long term consequences and could've been one looong good storyline. Instead it's "hi, we'll fuck you up- qucik preparation - ending". Literally 3 scenes. Meh.

Stellar Dream is pretty similar. You've got great exposition, but it just feels that the deeper we go into the game, the more passion is lost on dev's side.
First Colony was pretty decent. Second one was meh. And now we're nearing towards third and an end of the story.
A lot of relationships feel dull for you because they lack any stakes/conflicts. Like, the one with Maria on any path. There are so many opportunities to create drama: her progression from feeling guilty about cheating on her husband to completely giving up on her marriage. Her kid being the third wheel etc.
That's probably the cost of having an update each month.

Honestly, I hope that one day Winterlook decides to make a more ambitious NSFW game with 4-6 months update cycle, but more thought given to it, cause the potential, imo, is huge.

It has nothing to do with update time actually, the end result will always be the same. This dev just can't write engaging and exciting dialogues and story. And he is always losing his interest too fast, so he abruptly ends what he has on his hands at the moment and moves on to a new game.

In my opinion he should make short 1-2 hour games with almost no story and just fill it with sex scenes. That would suit him pretty well.

Not sure if bug or something with my save, but it seems like even after getting to the point where you get Lara to agree to stop taking the pill a flag keeps it on, since she says yes she is still taking it regardless if the next dialogue choice is to tell her to start taking it or stop taking it. Also may be something wrong with Saki, though all I have for her is it taking the pill set to off, and nothing happening regardless of how much action or time happens.

Does anyone know what the changelog was for v0.56 and v0.57? The last version I played was 0.55 and now I've jumped back in and I see that the quest where you can save the golems is still not available in this version. Is that how it's supposed to be? Do I have to take the violent way now and kill the golems? I'm pretty much stuck on the most recent planet with the golems and the dwarf-looking people otherwise. Killing the golems seems to be the only thing I can do right now.

I found that you had to say to your human bodyguard that you wanted to negotiate (from the three options after you find the talking golem) that decision sort of locks you into whatever options available under them. I did a fresh start with this update and got to save the golems.

I don't really remember what I told my bodyguard but I usually try to negotiate my way out of conflicts so I bet I took the negotiation route as well. I checked every character for some dialogue that I may have missed but there's nothing. What confuses me is that the quest where you would save the golems says "quest not available in this version" in my task bar as if the option really simply isn't implemented yet.

^ That said I also seem to be having an issue with certain flags not working how they're meant to so, it could be that.

Luckily I still had a save file where you can give your answer to the bodyguard so I loaded it and chose the negotiation option and went straight to Luna to get the power sources. Everything worked now so maybe I got something wrong after all, I dunno. Anyways, I got it now thankfully.
