I'm not a dev and I certainly pirate games a lot (do try to support the games I really like where I can, bought SoD on Steam for example), but I always find it both hilarious and sad how much of game threads on here boils down to pirates complaining about everything the devs do. "Updates take too long, patreon's too expensive, why isn't X fucking Y yet, ..." just over and over again on repeat.
What sucks is I've seen a bunch of the devs that still chose to interact with the forums despite us all being a bunch of filthy pirates (like you do) make themselves more and more scarce around here most likely because it has to be demoralizing when the people that pirate your work don't even do you the courtesy of not being assholes. It's not like porn games are made by gigantic corpo backed studios, most are a few hobbyists trying to make a living or just a bit of money on the side. At the end of the day if you have such big problems with a game or a dev just don't play their stuff and leave the threads alone.

I don't watch spoilers images but still update 4.0 50 percent spolied already. 
The developer asked that people wait least another 72 hours until the official release of the game on Steam before leaking it, I doubt there's anyone in the early access tier who wouldn't honor that request.

I'm considering buying this on Steam, however if I buy it on Steam. Once I download it do I have to launch Steam each time to play it or is it standalone once you install it?
No, you can find where the folder is rooted and launch the .exe file from there

I agree, people should use that thingy that hides spoilers, but instead they upload whole images so when you open a page there it is across your entire monitor screen. I just try to scroll fast and just search for developers update to see if he said anything about the release date. But still it is hard to not see some of the posts.
