It still doesn't work (for some of us) so you can stop giving false advice. There is a reason why no one has replied that this has helped them. Not sure what sort of fuckery is going on, might need to look at the code.

It is definitely in my top 5 games. My only real gripe is the bar and boutique having closed days, as it just makes it a little more annoying to complete certain tasks. Maybe there will be reasons later, why they are not open on those days.

I have no idea whats wrong with anyone's game here since people provide little to no information about it - if it's fresh install,what platform,is it compressed or modded.
And no - those saves work since I tested them - I always test things before suggest.
If they don't work - archive your old saves,deleted the game and download the current 4.0 version from patreon,steam or here and start a fresh game without any mods,compression or else. (remember to archive and deleted the temp folder saves for windows)

Already did that. Had no saves to begin with (not in /roaming or game/saves)...wtf...in the moment of writing this, the new quests popped up despite getting a "end of the content reached" message prior to this. So the compressed version with DannyRenx's save works (after deleting everything else) but neither the update only version nor a fresh start worked for some reason. Would love to know what line actually triggers it. Anyone more versed in python please enlighten me.

This "review" should be removed by the admin.
A quick look at this guys activity shows that 95% of the reviews he leaves are negative (1 or 2 stars), and they all read pretty much the same - he just changes a few words here and there (AI-generated, as you said).
The simple fact is people like this guy really don't appreciate the time, care and hard work developers like Fooxied put in.
That in itself is worth 3 stars IMO.
