Let me tell you something everyone - Story is written already and no amount of crying (specially in this freeloader forum) will change anything about the game
Things will happen when they're meant to happen - Supporters are happy with the pace of the game so you're wasting your time.
If you don't like it - just stop playing it until this Chapter is finished or until there is confirmed sex with other men (It's really simple)

Second, if you release a product to the public there is always going to be people that will have problems with it and complain. I bought the game on steam and am increasingly annoyed by lack of actual content. I'm not really vocal about it simply because at the end of the day I know now that if the devs release another game I won't buy it until it's complete and I've read about what content is in it.
Third, take some of your own advice, if you don't like the criticism - just stop reading it.

I'm not your buddy and it was said numerous times - the sex will happen when the story reaches that point so there is no point for dozen cry post about how the current update still don't have sex with other men.
It was discussed before many times (like every update until now) and at this point it's not criticism but poor trolling.
I'm just reminding everyone to go and wait for this chapter to end or the sex with other men to be confirmed so those who are waiting for it can play the game and get what they've been waiting for.
If you're unhappy with the game ask for refund - this option is available like mentioned before.

For God's sake, read it and then decide whether to play it and rate it fairly, or avoid it.
There's a filter function on the right-hand side of the screen. Search for male MC and have fun, but have the guts to rate a game fairly, even if it doesn't suit your personal taste.

Am I right in thinking that there's a rope scene with Ivy? If so I keep missing it somehow... I get the convo about 'showing the ropes' but there's no text message or new location that opens up... what am I doing wrong? Any help appreciated...

When you upgraded your game, did you only upgrade the "game" folder or all? I think the new version uses an updated version of renpy so you will have to update all.

I updated it all. It might be my computer idk, never encountered this issue so far .
I never get a notification or quest that leads to Ivy and ropes... played thru from scratch too
