Literally that is not the case. I do like the game, obviously, but the facts are that already in the game there are two different routes with the secretary that lead to different scenes. So I don't need to assume anything that's not in the game already. If you want another example, there are different scenes with the old neighbor as well depending on your choices, both in the poker game and in the visit with the husband.

I notice some are having problems starting the 5.0 update from previous saves. Is this a wide spread issue?

I am currently waiting for the steam release because I don't want to try to mingle the version here with the steam version.

I do wonder how this one will play out in a sandbox game, without an actual stats system in the code.

Can't wait for this game having routes, instead of following the KN quests !

1- There are stats on this game. The use of normal stats like you see in about 90% of games is lazy and shows a lack of creativity; all that does is bombard the player with questions every few renders and break the flow of the story.
2- There are routes. You have to consider that the game is in the early stages yet (not talking about the development time but about the story stages). once the story progresses more, I'm sure routes will become more clear.

Granted, there is a more one-route direction in some of the other relations, but it still is not a kinetic novel, even though it could include more meaningful choices.
