I couldn’t help but notice the main menu shows Riley with an anal plug—yet she only uses it once in the whole game? Talk about false advertising! We demand more backdoor action!
That makes no difference since it's possible for Riley to make 300-400 dollars more each week, than she pays Wyatt. Even after buying clothes, and the gym pass, and the stuff for the party, there's still plenty of money each week to buy a couple of renders, without ever dropping below 400 dollars. If you decide to miss time out, because you can't be bothered grinding the cash, well yeah you might get into trouble. But in a game of this sort, why would you do such a thing?
For example, in the week I just played, Riley earned nearly 600 dollars (even accounting for the 200 dollars that failed to materialise from Elijah's stream) but her outgoings were only 250 dollars, leaving over 300 dollars for her to potentially spend on renders. If you buy renders regularly throughout the game, it should be very easy to get them all, without ever being short of money.
The whole point of Riley doing Elijah's stream is to earn extra money. So why claim she's earned 200 dollars and then not have it materialise? All the other streams result in her earning extra money. So it seems like a big oversight, hence my query about it possibly being bugged content?

I don't think it relates to that at all. Everytime she talks about worrying about getting the payment for the following week, so what does that have to do with Mike paying off the balance?
Mike is never going to pay off this debt anytime soon, in any case. It would take years to pay off that kind of debt, from the profits of a Bar, even if it was packed to the rafters every night. That's why the Bank probably refused him a loan, because it's a very risky venture running a Bar. If you have no collateral, there's no way a bank would loan you any money to start up a Bar. Which is why Mike ends up borrowing money from the Mob. Which only a complete idiot would do in his position. People like that, don't give out long term loans. So how did he imagine he was going to pay them back?
The only way they're going to pay off this debt, before both of them get murdered by Wyatt, is by Riley selling her body, to some rich dude or becoming a top pornstar, or something else like that. Because there's no way in a million years that Mike has the business acumen to make it back with his Bar. Even if he did, it would still take years for him to pay off that debt. And I doubt very much they've got even a fraction of that time.

Yeah, I feel a bit cheated in that regard. I thought I was going to be allowed to steer Riley how I wanted, and turns out no, you sure can't.
Does anyone have success with this pole dancing game? Everytime I play, every single choice is wrong. Which is practically impossible, because even if you just pressed the same arrow over and over, statistically at least some of the choices should be correct. But whatever I do, all I get is zero percent.
Oh god, don't give the developer any more ideas about boring sex scenes with her boring husband. Of all the men in the VN, of all the current existing penetration scenes (multiple of which are already her husband), why is he who you're interested in seeing her have sex with?

I have arrow keys, but also arrows on the number pad, that function like arrow keys if num lock is off.
Wondering if this maybe could be your issue?...it's the only thing I can think of where you'd get 0 while pressing arrow keys...

She's paying off the balance FOR Mike. She's worried for him and that's why she's concerned about the payment.
You've answered your own question. She's concerned about paying off the debt because they likely wouldn't be able to pay the debt off from the bar otherwise. Hence picking up side jobs like streaming and cleaning. Mike isn't really the smartest tool in the box in this regard which is why he sought out something less safe than the bank. As for the fact that the mob doesn't give out long term loans: it's a game. As I said before, you gotta suspend disbelief a bit. I've played games that force you to make a ton of money before buying an item and they feel like a slog, especially when the money making options require days upon days of going to work without the story progressing otherwise. I'm happy to be given money in excess, I worry about money in my real life, I don't want to be overly concerned about money in a game.
You have a point from a realism standpoint, but this isn't realism, it's a game. Kinda like how you go to school but there's no real reason to keep doing so unless you want two scenes. You won't lose your school funding even if you stop going.
Mike deserves some love here and there. Throw him a bone every now and again, Riley still loves him. Moreover, I'd just like to see Riley in wedding clothes/lingerie. I just don't see how we'd see her like that otherwise unless she was with Mike.
At 200 dollars a week, it will take 10 years to pay off the debt. What gangster would allow anyone that amount of time? So unless she starts earning considerably more, like thousands of dollars a week, then there's no way they'll stay alive long enough to pay it off. I mean we're already suspending disbelief, because the whole idea of a 200 dollar a week repayment scheme for a 100k debt to a ruthless gangster, is already beggaring belief. It would never happen in the real world, and Mike would already be dead in a ditch.
The real reason behind the 200 dollar a week repayment scheme, is the Dev wants this to be a slowburn corruption of Riley, and therefore she has to be able to have relatively tame jobs at the start of the game, which naturally don't pay as much. Rather than fast-tracking her into becoming a complete slut, so she can earn considerably more as a cam star, stripper or escort, and thus would be able to pay back, far more than 200 dollars a week. If she was really desperate, and was convinced that Wyatt would murder her and Mike, if she didn't pay back much more each week. She wouldn't even think twice about doing whatever it took to earn that money. She might hate herself, but she'd still do it. But because the Dev has decided this game is going to be a slowburner, instead we have this ludicrous scenario which totally stretches credibility.
Rather than just getting a loan, they could have had Mike laundering money for the Mob, until he could repay them what he owned. That would be more realistic, because then they're getting a significant benefit from the arrangement, rather than just a tiny pittance, which wouldn't even cover the high level of interest that they would naturally expect on such a sum. Because when you add in interest, Riley would likely be paying 200 dollars for the rest of her life, if her repayments remained at that level. Having Mike be involved in some criminality under duress, would also provide Riley with a big incentive to pay back the money as soon as possible. It provides a much more logical reason, for her eventually succumbing to corruption, regardless of whether Mike is a cuck or not.
Thanks, I'll give that a go. It wasn't a major issue, because you can still have Riley work as a waitress. And since my money appears to be steadily climbing anyway. I don't forsee a moment where I'm not going to have as much money as I'll ever need.

You people are so deep into the conspiracy theories and theocrafting which is pointless - you will know more about why very soon with update 5.0 and others that come after. (when the mafia boss plot progresses and she meets and actual "bad" guy of the game which will also progress other parts of the game that will provide means to make more money like my P.S.)
While I agree that the math and the whole debt thing feels wonky - it is just the means for the story and not the main point of this game.
P.S. Riley can just go full into the Escort business and pay that debt off in matter of weeks to a month - just giving you a different angle why your discussion is pointless.

I agree. I don't remember if I ever saw weddings and honeymoon/wedding nights in porn games. It seems porn is everything that's not traditional which is bs and not having taste.

And I look at the pictures of this game and slowly goes that our Riley becomes a whore, and then will love it even more, almost all games go like this, such a genre that in the beginning is such a modest beautiful quiet girl, and then already such a rampant whore became, for example, who does not know, “Anna and her adventures” and “Love, Honor, Betray” and this game “Victoria in Big City” and a couple of other games where all the girls become whores.

I have a question about Steps of Debauchery. I'm looking for a way to get more money in the game, but unfortunately Cheat Engine and the save editor don't work. Are there any other methods I might try? I'd also like to avoid grinding for too long if possible. Any suggestions or alternative tricks? Thanks for the help!
