Haaaaaaaaai how goes everyone?!
it's been about 3 weeks since I've done any real work cause puttin' that 16 min RE4 film out was no small feat, especially toward the end I was really feeling fatigued, and you guys greatly encouraged that I take a break once it was done (thank you kindly for that, I really needed it and I appreciate your patience with the slow few weeks.) , but boy oh boy am I ready to sink my teeth right back into a new project! I really wanted to learn some Moho for this one, After Effects can do a lot but it's getting a bit dated by today's standards and the lovely folks at Adobe are just so on top of making sure it hits modern benchmarks...
Anyway... my gripes. I wanted to try a new program for character rigging and animation as well as the frame-by-frame coom (that's currently being done in Photoshop using a plugin but Moho offers it natively right in the program so that could make the process a lot smoother with potentially far less back and forth, meaning springier and juicy coomshots with more character interaction!) tho compositing will still be happening in AE... it uh, don't matter. I digress and ramble...Anyway onto the poll results!
As many of you had guessed (cause the results basically didn't shift after the first day) our winners are (Tallied across both Patreon and Substar):
Chel (Age 23) in 3rd place!
Frieren (that will never not be hard to spell) - (Age 1000+) in 2nd place
and goth dommy mommy Raven (Age 27) in 1st place! I wanted to move a bit off the usual path for her. I already did a short featuring classic looking Raven a couple years back and I always like to try new stuff so gonna give this a whirl, hope ya guys enjoy it.
I'm going to be making the films in order from least votes to most; so Chel, Frieren, then Raven, and film durations might also go from shortest to longest, still figuring that out tho. Scripts are done, my brain that just can't keep anything simple has of course overcooked them all, injecting stories and all that into each, so they won't just be simple tentacle loops. (meaning they'll take a bit longer to do, but we should have some fun films to watch once they're done.)
However - differently than the RE4 film, these will be coming out one-by-one as they're finished, so you won't be waiting months and months with just gifs to watch'n'wank to.
Current project status:
All scripts are finished!
VA's currently being sourced.
Storyboards have just begun.
Over the course of next week I'll be learning Moho and doing storyboards so there might not be tooooo much of an update for Friday depending on how complex the software is to get a grasp on, but I'm sure I'll have something to look at, tho I have heard from friends who have picked up Moho after using AE that it handles similarly but better and the learning curve isn't terrible.
First up; Chel! Can't wait to get into it.
