i had same problem which h animation especially battle h scenes not playing.
however i downloaded above save files which unlocked gallerys, i can play some battle h scenes and some aren't and just a img that don't move.
idk what exactly happened but since some of battle h scene(pretty lot) was able to play it maybe uploaded game has some bug or glitch maybe caused by translation?
i would try original version but not included on download so i wouldn't test.
i had problem with 1.06 en ver downloaded here. just wrote my experience and opinion because me and many people already had same problem..
might be wrong image file, file name issue or runtime issue but i had all english path and installed all type runtimes that run other rpg games perfectly, i just checked gallery and deleted game. almost everything except start h was able to play normally. i also tried locale emulator but had no luck too.
