That's what the thread is for and as you can see, there is plenty of opinion diversity. The list in the OP is my taste only and I don't want to list any games I (no longer) like.

What would you describe as gameplay? I think peeple's Version of gameplay varies as well. I would recommend Last Sovereign and yes, your Grace. As those are gameplays with great stories.

Reading through the thread i saw that some games were on the list and then removed at some point. It is your list of course, but may i suggest that instead of completely removing games you don't like/recommend anymore, you put them in a separate list in the first post.
i think that my criteria for "good story first game" is a bit less strict then yours so a lot of games that you removed i still like and I am sure that many people are the same, so it would be beneficial to have "Games that i recommended once, but not anymore" list

A point that i was trying to make was that there are a lot of games that jufot doesn't like but many others do, and when someone new comes here, they have to read through 170 pages to find suggestions for good games (other then the ones in op of course). But of course I also understand that list in OP is his taste so it makes sense not to add games there (even as separate list)

I think i found it through signature myself. I don't remember whose signature it was though

I'm trying to say utilizing search bar is a bit of an obstacle and not everyone uses it but, it's not that high of a bar either.
I don't read hundreds of pages back either, I just use search bar myself.
Ultimately, it's their thread so they can list or not list whatever they want

I don't remember why i didn't have Between Two Worlds on my backlog. How to fix the future is there, COBD is what i thought of when i say "vehicle for scenes delivery"

TV Drummer is awesome, but going back on my hazy memory wasn't TV Drummer an amalgamation of about 4 different book characters? So there was no book Drummer? Bits of Michio Pa and Bull etc were all folded in to make the TV series require a couple less actors.

Drummer is in the books. She starts out as head of security at Tycho and becomes much, much more in the later books that we never got to see on the show But yes, TV Drummer is an amalgamation of multiple book characters.
