Updating the tags for one scene was never an important part to me. Honestly, it's never been important to me to tag every specific type of sexual activity in some of these games because the list gets ridiculous on how specific you want it to be. Most people download for the sex content and then forget about it, messaging me afterwards and say they got so wrapped up in the story, that they forgot to jerk off (best feedback i ever get). Overall, when the game is finished, it will have sexual content, nudity, and mostly vanilla content. I'm not doing any over the top sexual nonsense--it doesn't fit the story.
Think of it like an HBO or Starz show at this point and you'll probably be more prepared

After all, the game is more about the story and the characters than about providing jerk off material

Okay, you're the dev. I don't think that a few more than one sex scene in three years is "over the top" for an adult VN though.
The problem is you're thinking of it as an adult VN, instead of a great VN with some adult material included when realistically relevant.

I wasn't criticizing the VN, but merely trying to find out if it is for me or not. There are too few good adult games and VNs with twinks on this site and so I was curious. And a bit sad, that's true. I like a good story, but - and I'm not ashamed to say this - I'm on this site mainly for sexual content. I neither like VNs that are just sex scenes with no story, nor those that are just story with no sex scenes. It's all about a good mixture of both - for me, that is.
So I will not and cannot say anything about the quality of this VN - giving the ratings I guess the story is great - but given that there's so little actual sex in it I'll pass for now and maybe have another look at it in a year or two. And that's neither a complaint, nor a criticism, it just is what it is.

It's more tension than anything. It's a story about a character who struggles with his sexuality so because of that, the game deals with sex related issues and shows nudity and daily life where sometimes people are naked. There's more tension then there is anything and I think all the sex content in it so far fits within the context of the story. Honestly, i think the mix I have here is actually more arousing than the straight up porn shit you see elsewhere because there's a bond between the characters but that's because that's what i like and I've written the story for my own reasonsThat might indeed be the case.

Originally a few people complained about the lack of sexual content but now those are very much in the minority and was only ever a handful...in fact, you can probably go through this thread and see a list of every person in the history of the game that's brought up the amount of sexual content because i dont think it was ever mentioned elsewhere or in DMs...idk, maybe 7 people or so total. Everyone else was cool with the amount and i think most agree that it's 1) either more arousing this way, or 2) adequate for the story.
I'll also clarify my statement about "over the top sexual content" from earlier. That was not meant to say that having more than 2 or 3 scenes in the game is "over the top," it was meant more within the context of tags here. So there will not be any over the top tag related stuff in the game to tag which is why i avoided tagging things to begin with (no BDSM, no one's getting raped, there's no farm animals involved, and no incest, etc). The content will be fairly vanilla because i'm trying to appeal to a wider audience here because, to me, the story is important to tell and is meant to target people who may have struggled with their own sexuality at some point. I'm going for a weird mix here where you laugh one minute, then get horny, then cry, then you're horny again but then start laughing. It's an emotional ride imo and I like that
