Yep, he mentions it quickly in the coffee shop. The idea was that you'd hopefully overlook it in that scene because of the content and impact of what Ash was actually saying. You didn't miss anything. That's actually the way I wanted you to read it. It's sorta meant to be that Braden was actually more attentive than you (Zack) are in that scene.reread it again, I do not have this moment. Am I so inattentive to details?

yes, only he says it in the sauna. I don't know if the scene is dependent on the choices earlier in the game. but i tried different options and i don't see any mention in the cafe. I guess I'm really inattentive
or is it because of not knowing the language.

Well... Fuck.
I believe this is the first time (in an adult game) I was genuinely feeling like a total prick for having preconceptions about fictional characters. Yes. Plural.
I don't believe there is even one of my posts in this thread that doesn't praise your way of writing and storytelling.
But just in case: WOW. This was bloody amazing update, your way of storytelling is awesome Aaryn the artwork is amazing, the rain effects, character development, cliffhanger, and everything. Just spot on.
Cody, Max and Manager scene in Caffè... Fucking awesome. No other words to explain that scene. This entire update was a roller-coaster of emotions ranging from sadness to smiling, sad again, to laughter, back to sad, shock, speechless, smile, laugh, shock again, and eventually sadness for not having more stuff to read and see...
Kudos to you and Blayke and all others who had any part in this. And a huge thank you. Can't wait for next update.
PS. I hope there will be much more Cody content, he is adorable, and kinda grew on me when he made those shower comments...

But honestly, i liked this one a lot. Ash is a blast to write and he was fun to finally expose to the readers in (literally) all his glory. And yeah...Cody was pretty popular. I'm actually featuring a photo shoot of him on the Patreon site all month

I have been aware of all this you wrote for quite some time. Maybe not exact words for it, but the general idea. Coming of age story, not focusing on porn aspects, slow buildup of characters and storytelling.
Never had any issues with it. Quite the opposite. I love this story. Characters. The way it is told. Cliffhangers. Everything.
I would never dare to meddle in your creative process and ask to change anything. Whatever the story is, creator should always do it the way they think it should be done. No matter how the audience reacts.
That being said, I still vote (read as "beg") for a happy ending. This world is terrible enough as it is.

Yeah, it's definitely not the typical motivation for writing an adult game that others have but these are my own motivations and it's kept me going for almost 3 years now so something is working. Plus, there's an amazing following and a huge number of people that have been positively impacted by the game. There's another few comments on itch.io lately if anyone cares about those. Oh, ok... I see what you're saying now. No, the game will end within the current age context that we're seeing right now most likely. Unless I go crazy at the last minute and change course --which is always possible i guess, i've done it dozens of times before

Just popping in to say that , while I haven't finished all of the content available now, what I already played through surprassed all of my expectations for this game. The writing and the story are really making me feel stuff and actually think, which doesn't happen often with video games.
I also love how focused the story is on our two main guys, letting us have a real shot at understanding who they are and what they are going through. And even if sometimes it makes them feel a bit removed from the outside world, like they're living in a bubble of sorts, for the purposes of the story and what it is trying to convey, it just works™.
The only ''problem'' I would have is that there's pretty much never more than 3 characters in a scene, so a lot of places feel simply desolate but after a while I kinda got used to Zack always being by himself in class.
There's like so many things that this game is doing well that were probably already talked about extensively in this thread so I'm just gonna say, that this is one of the most impactful games I've played lately, and I cannot wait to see where you take this from here. Keep up the good work, luv!
