I'm not gay myself (Bi-man here)... but man I am not into the 'Pride' thing myself. Why the hell should I have pride in my specific sexuality? It's just one small, tiny, insignificant aspect of me... why place so much pride in it?
Well done, you're gay, Do you want me to give you a medal or something? You can be a 100% completely dedicated homosexual man without shoving your sexuality in my face! (Or down my throat). Certainly, I don't go around shoving my hypothetical 15th-century goat-man dick down peoples faces (Unless they want me to, that is).
Granted, you ought to be happy that for the first time since pretty much ~100-300 A.D, Where homosexuals in Western cultures have been shunned, despised and hated by a fair majority until at-least the 90's, and nowadays is seen as being quite 'normal', you can definetly be happy with the outcome and the new freedom to finally express yourselves without fear. But please don't go around being a dick and shoving your 'Pride' into other peoples faces. I tend to think this ought to be common sense. But as with everything, some people take things way too far.
