Obviously, the MC and his family are having a hard time, but things are not getting better at all, and their lives are not changing. They still live in motels and fight with each other. MC's aunt comes to this difficult family every week and mooch off them.
Numerous female characters just want to spread their legs to the MC, and no one is doing anything for the MC and family.
I find it very strange that no one is advising the developer on this.

If the plot moves forward, the story - hence the game - would crumble / end. I haven't seen Lauren and the Principal titfucking our hero yet, therefore the end must wait till then, at least. IMHO.

Mia's event is when she and Jil are practicing dancing. The 1st hour is the same as before, but 2nd hour she gets tired and wants to nap. You can either go to the room then and find her on the bed or you can nap in other room and she will come find you.
Principle's event is an addition to fixing your attendance. I haven't done this one, but seem you have to move the boxes a couple times before getting the option to check papers
