keep going to the meeting at the lawyers, after a while, it will unlock town hall and court, you will end up meeting her there

You probably need to be maxxed out with the Lawyer, but if you turn up at the lawyers office on Saturday morning (at 10 am), you will meet up with her outside the building, she tells you that she can let you in, if you talk about your testimonial, she will tell you that there will soon be preliminary hearings and you should attend, this unlocks the court house, and after a visit or two (to the court) the Judge.

There is a small chance for the mc and ren to get caught by the cops together, it's a random event, besides that, there is nothing more to that event with mc and ren.
