wait 10 days, build the opinion of the wife and manager to above 50 and you'll be able to get the job back. If you want to cheat it, open the console and paste the following:
Code: 
RoadsideDiner.Work.State = WorkStates.Proposed; Relations(ATeach).opinion.Value = 100; Relations(DinerManager).opinion.Value = 100
Press enter then go talk to the fellow and get your job back.

Can you get locked with characters if you do stuff in "wrong" order? Because I am stuck with few characters and I just don't know how to go forward with them. Alex(eternal finger fuck), Jaslene, maid(she just don't wanna fuck), Ava. Can't get any points for them, but also not new stuff.

If you fall below a certain relationship level, you can be permanently locked out from interacting with said characters.

I made a similar mistake my first time playing, since I assumed it was like all the other games, and ended up having to start over.

Luckily for you, you don't really progress much unless you know how the mechanics work. So it won't be hard to get back to your current progress.

I don't know if that's still the case, but that's how it was when I started playing.

In fact it's the main reason I opted to download the game and find some cheats as well.

but if you fall below certain thresholds, like you say (I assume you mean that opinion gets too low), then all you need is to raise opinion back up by discussing topics of interest, which you can freely do any time you want.
Given that you can raise opinion by about 25 every day for every character, you can’t stay stuck for more than a couple of days
