Last time he updated us was 21 days to escape Russia. If he managed to not be noticed, the difficult part is to escape Russia again.
I believe there was a draft in progress which was why HRelease fled. We can but hope that that is no longer in effect, or if it is, they don't get round to serving recruitment papers before HRelease can escape again. Given that centralised authorities tend to be slow to react to events on the ground, there is a reasonable chance that this will be the case. Failing that, there will also be the possibility that all the organs of state will not function in a joined up fashion and you get the classic "left hand doesn't know what the right is doing", and HRelease can leave the country before border security have been alerted to the fact that they need to detain him, although this would represent a much worse outcome, as it may mean troubles going forwards should he ever wish to return home, unless the "powers that be" offer amnesty to people who didn't want to fight, die or kill for their country.
Whatever the case I wish HRelease all the best, and hope that he can resolve his situation without any stern knocks upon his door in the middle of the night.
