You need to build up love/relationship with the mother, as simply being sexual with her will freak her out. Work on the relationships, then slowly get her being sexual. Also, you get to have "shrink" meetings with your mother. Make sure to go to them. She'll suggest them after a time. This also develops your chances with your tutor, who's basically the shrink.

Yes, there's massive randomisation for many of the scenes. Search RNG (random number generator/generation) in this thread to get an idea of how often it comes up in opening new scenes.

- Have had regular sex
