I'm going to break this topic of discussion down a bit just because I find myself a bit bored this evening.
IMO, one of the
biggest issues is that there's a very commonplace attitude a lot of people have of "The only kinks, fetishes, or preferences that aren't weird, sick, disgusting, stupid, offensive, or just a complete waste of time and resources are
MINE!!!"
It's a pirate site for porn games, 99% of which are just made up of 3D/2D assets. Every day, people enjoy doing shit in video games that they would
never do in real life. Someone having a
fantasy breeding, incest, etc. kink, and someone who has it and wants to act on it in a "real life" sense, are nowhere even close to being the same thing. Same as enjoying killing in a game vs irl. People are allowed to get off on different things than you. If someone likes something that you don't, or vice versa, then
that's okay. There's no need to be rude about it. Chill the fuck out.

Regarding the whole pregnancy thing, there's actually bit of nuance there. Because a
breeding kink and a
pregnancy kink aren't necessarily always the same thing. A breeding kink might just be more focused on the impregnation aspect, while a pregnancy kink might be more focused on actual/visual pregnant bellies with or without accompanying sex scenes.
For example, I do have a breeding kink, but the actual/visual pregnancy part is just like icing on the cake for me. Nice but not essential.
A lot of the dialogue in
Straitened Times teases things like impregnation (which personally I
greatly enjoy, but
to each their own). So
of course anyone with either a breeding or pregnancy kink is going to sound off on it and ask about it. It makes 100% sense why they would.

As far as actually
implementing things like optional pregnancies (baby bumps, etc.) into games, it's obviously much easier mechanically to do in a branching VN. That being said, it's more difficult but
still possible to do it in sandbox games. Summertime Saga, Simple Days, and The Tyrant are 3 just off the top of my head (yes, The Tyrant was Abandoned but the mechanics were still in place and functioning).
It does often require suspending your disbelief a bit, sure, but that's no different than 99/100 of every other aspect in all the games on here

. So it's really just a question of whether or not the dev wants to. And if they just don't want to, then of course that's valid. They're the one putting in all the time and work. It's their game, it's their call.
Personally, if I had no plans to ever add actual pregnancy content (in a relevant game), I would be upfront about it just out of courtesy so that people at least wouldn't get their hopes up (I have no idea if HRelease has ever done that or not, btw, I'm just stating what
I would do).

With this game in particular, my understanding is that individual character endings have been added. I'm not even a dev and the "solution" to that seems rather simple to me.
After that ending is initiated, and things become linear, have a dialogue choice where the character asks the MC if he wants to knock her up or not. Based on that Yes/No the final scenes or "epilogue slides" before the credits could be different. It would involve more work if we're going for pregnant bellies, sure, but it's still not something that would be an elaborate maze of complication mechanically-speaking. So, again, it would just be up to the dev if they wanted to or not.
