Where exactly is the non-cheating? Rachel cheated on Steve, that is not really a point of contention. This is different from a Childhood friend. A childhood friend starts of as both being single. MC love her, but then she is seduced by another bastard etc. etc. etc. In this game She does not start of as single. Simple as that. This is also not an NTR game. I have played NTR games, and it is completely different.
I'm not disputing the NTR tag. The F95 community has a fucked-up idea of what NTR is (Any dick other than the MC that fucks a girl is NTR) and for that reason I'm happy with the tag. Just don't tell me that this is an NTR game, because it isn't. A GF fucking her BF is not NTR (Especially, since they have been BF and GF since the beginning of the game).

I do not know what you have seen or not, so I do not want to spoil it for you, but MC get's more action the Steve for sure.
Things with Rachel is also looking up and I suspect think the Steve issue will probably be fully resolved in the next update.

Did I play a different game??? I did not play the last update, so maybe the dev changed it? Steve 100% only slept with one girl - his GFDoes the story make sense now? The last release, Steve came in and was banging everyone, Rachel and I think the other girl too IIRC.
So does this make sense with the next step? Can we get rid of Steve permanently?
I suspect that the next update will resolve Steve one way or the other.
Were is the captain, his daughter and the three other girls? Ie the married lesbian couple the captain spies on and the women living in the captians cabin on the yatch?

We know where the Captain is. (Or where he was last seen)
He was with stranded with Jessica. Mia's Bracelet (His daughter) is also there.
The model couple and Robin's current position is unknown. Since they have no strong attachment to the MC and his friends, it is normal that they are not that concerned about them. They possible washed up a bit further up the coast from the captain's spot.

It doesnt require entering the cabin - there's a little canteen icon on the porch of cabin but only in the evening slot right before dinner meal when no one is there.
Yeah.... if anything the narrative during the few steve-rachel sex encounters flies in the face of what i'd consider a typical ntr setup....you don't think of a girl fantasizing about mc while going through the motions with her bf.... if anything Steve's the one getting ntred here.
Blows my mind when people say 'remove him from game!' as if he's just some random plot insertion (which admittedly would be like the ship's captain in the similar-themed 'Lewd Island'). But no, here, their backstories are an integral part of the overall narrative. This is made clear with all the flashback scenes.

Precisely.... I do not see where all the surprises come from.
He is a well-established character right from the start of the game. He was in several flashbacks, where we established that he cheated on Rachel and that the MC hates his guts.
I'm not sure what they expected. That we just found a dead Steve? I mean sure... What's the point of introducing him as a character at all? Why have Rachel have a BF at all? I mean let's have GOT without the Red Wedding. It's like people are not interested into anything remotely resembling a good story when it comes to Porn games. Have they never heard of an Antagonist?
80% of F95. Pretty girls, dull MC, Harem, throw in some incest. Boom we have a 5 star game. Antagonist? Hell no! Well that is 80% of games on here.

Any idea why I’ve finished all the available quests (or parts thereof) and it says that I’m at 95% game completion? Does it not go to 100% since it’s not a finished game yet?
Also, in the stats for the MC, is there any way to increase his stats like strength or charisma on the island? Or are they pretty much meaningless and just not relevant/used in the latest updates?

If you want to really feel good about the future of the game...get to 100% for sure. The game ends on a bang!
I think they are currently meaningless. I did workout on the yacht, but I do not thing that affected anything.
The way the game is currently going. I do not think it will be needed (Mayyyybe strenth)
But I do not see Charisma being used in the game at all

I don't have the screenshots or even the game anymore, deleted it after playing last update, will play again next update (whenever it comes). I'm not THAT invested into this, man. I just remember a throwaway line implying he gets/would get the other girls too. (maybe it's even the same line you posted) Maybe it's Mandela effect. Maybe I'm just misremembering or misunderstood. The only thing I said is that Steve and Rachel isn't cheating but IS NTR. Didn't even that it's an NTR game. In the end I think it's stupid having the guy come back but I don't care THAT much. I'll still play the next update (if it comes at least) and hope for some progression. Would STILL prefer Steve wasn't around but for me it's like mild annoyance, like a mosquito buzzing about. Not some game ruining thing. It's stupid, annoying but not the end of the world. Not (when in theory) MC still gets Rachel in the end again.

To be fair there is a scene that can be construed to Stave having implied sexual interactions with Emily.
When you peep on her, then Steve catches you (Without you knowing) and then talks to Emily and then they walk of together with Steve having his usual smug grin. However, we can confirm with certainty now that Steve did nothing with her so far.
That is all I could think of. I cannot remember any other interaction with Jessica or Emily, other then him constantly trying to make you look bad in front of the girls. That is obviously not working as Jessica is continuing fucking the MC even more and Emily is also exploring her sexuality with the MC

I didn't play the update where Steve reappears and Rachel starts fucking him again without a second thought (per the thread feedback and screenshots from the game) so no idea if he actually banged the other women or not, just that seemed to be implied by what the feedback was.
As for Rachel being the one cheating with the MC, well how long were they on the island alone? People can and do change their relationship in short notice, if they really want to. Just because someone *had* a relationship with someone else, doesn't mean they immediately jump right back into it again with that person if they have spent a lot of time with someone else and developed any interest/feelings for that other person. To assume they ignore any new changes that may have occurred is to ignore the often murky interactions in human relationships that can occur.
So, again without having played the previous release where Steve does pop up, Rachel could have easily turned him down regarding sex, if she really wanted to do so. For any number of reasons, that she wouldn't have to explain to Steve.

I think you misunderstand a bit. Were people pissed at Steve suddenly showing up? Yes, but probably more pissed because they had to sit there and watch Rachel fuck him, when any thoughts she had about the MC while fucking Steve could have been done in another narrative manner that got the same point across without actually showing it.
You don't need to see all the actions in a story that each character does to get the narrative past it. Oh, and GOT was a pretty shit story, compared to the thousands of other fantasy and sci-fi options available, but your point is understandable.
Also, games don't need to show a direct antagonist to have something for the protagonist to overcome. The "element to overcome" can be basically anything if it poses enough threat of some sort. How good, or shitty, a writer is can often be determined by what plot elements they use to, and how they use them, to se up the protagonist to start or continue their 'heros journey'. (Usually the worse writers often have characters die to add 'weight' to the story.)
Of course not, it's perfectly possible to skillfully tell a story without any of that.
But all this is sidestepping the elephant in the room, the context of which this discussion is taking place.
What gets under my skin the most with this game is there's all kinds of shocking and reprehensible behavior the mc does without batting an eye. Players go through this- presumably whistling while they work, then the takaway is steve-competition bad???
