Your bamboo variable is set to 25. Should be True.

Open the console (Shift + O)
Type: bamboo=True

It's not a "STONE" it's "TINDER" i.e. Dried Grass.

He need stone either for fire. It's in next path from the lake, there are 2 or 3 positions there with stones (the places with figs and bamboo). Some stones are in the path where there are wood and fruits, if I'm not mistake. You should also look for idols!
