Consider the following:
On 29 July 2023, he posted "The version 0.14 will be out in the next few days." The actual release date of v0.14 was over 16 months later on 4 December 2024.
On 28 January 2025, he posted "There are only a few days left until the release of Version v0.15!!" The actual release date of v0.15 was over 4 months later on 4 May 2025.
In fact, at version v0.14 he wrote that he finished it and then all sorts of biblical calamities came...
but now there is a nuance - "...v0.16 is almost ready", which he only suggested, not that he directly said the term..., so this "almost" could be a week, a month or a year (s!)...

Honestly, I hope he just drops it when it's actually ready and doesn't give any release dates anymore that will be ignored anyways
Author needs to chill the f out with the flashbacks
A flashback here or there isn't bad, although flashbacks and now flashforwards seem to be getting more common. A lot of times, it seems to just be a way to manufacturer content when you've burned through your ideas or story potential for the present. I think in this game, the dev started off with way too few love interests, especially given the stranded theme. There could have been women from the ship stranded all across the island, barely hanging on until the MC finds them and brings them back home to their camp. But the setup for the story seemed to preclude many more women being found, and instead we had the boyfriend showing up as one of the survivors. He seemed to be there mainly to stretch out the story more, although if he had been a woman instead, that could have worked out so much better in my opinion. I think there were a lot of better choices that could have been made as this game was being made.
I'm stuck... I have Pond scenes on repeat and can't progress the lotion - i think I'm due to explore the island can anyone help...I'm stranded!!
I wonder how long we have to wait until the dev releases the new update. Probably still a month (or even longer) away lol
