I wonder the same thing. There is a plant that looks exactly like the one in the book but if you try to collect it it says it is poisonous and what not.

I don't really understand why do developers suddenly go NTR after such a long time without it and after gathering audience that has no interest in it and for quite a lot of them it is actually a dealbreaker. Are there some heavy patreon whales pushing cuckolding agenda or what? Is it even worth ruining your game for few heavy spenders?

I'd say it's because the devs bristle at their patrons (and the audience in general) believing they have say-so, and it's their way of cucking everybody, no whales needed. Wherever you fall on the NTR spectrum, you have to know that most devs that would include it find the alpha-bull story creatively stifling, and view the no-NTR jihadi kids with similar contempt as they view those devs.

This could have easily been avoided, as there are already three different modes, and the easiest doesn't seem materially different from the hardest. The dev could surely build an all your orifice are belong to us version (with a sissy or infirm Steve) as part of the Garden of Eden mode...there'd be 38 billion bugs in it, but he could build it.

Those flowers are the ones it says are poisonous and I shouldn't grab.

EDIT: It seems that one of the mods or the fix messed with the quest. I got it working.

This update was made quite good and therefore it was playable with no problem with mods or anything like that before.Thanks for those who uploaded saves from 0.11 to play 0.12.

My whole point is that you can't build a your-MC-is-the-only-male-stuck-in-a-desert-island-with-fab-chicks scenario, and then you twist everything introducing an "Eric" out of the blue. Old timers know what happened when Darksilver introduced Eric in BB.

Out of blue? I dont think so, there are hints about that: right from the start Steve as bf / stepdad, then should be around v7-9 when they started exploring and some small talks befofe that.
First of all, I just started to play full v12 so I dont know if dev have changed anything about the plot before. Second, I dont think Steve is as bad as Eric. He seems like a cool dude atm, only that he is alr nailing Rachael and eyeing (possible have done it) Emily during their time on the other side of island. If you consider the fact that the og plot (should be) is mother/son relationship, its normal to see dad/stepdad and mom fool around TO me, I kinda like the change, right when MC almost reach his long awaited goal, Steve comes Its spicy and I can see Rachael is struggling mentally and I want to see if dev / writer can nail the process of that change / struggling she is going through later. And Emily's development ofc, as long as everything else is somewhat logical.

I don't like NTR. I was pissed that Steve was fucking my girl, and I hope we get to kill him. It doesn't ruin the game for me yet though. We don't need every game to be a perfect fantasy. Some dramatic highs and lows make a good story. If you always want to be be guaranteed to fuck the girl watch some POV porn.

I understand how some of you feel I guess though; incest/sissy/futa/loli/femaleProtag are instant dealbreakers for me.

Stranded Dick never promised no NTR. So it's really a problem of the Demo > Patreon model in the context of continued development of a story. Just like Netflix, you're paying and hoping they make something you like in the future. If you want the right to be pissed about how the story goes, you need to start off with clear terms and expectations. Otherwise you'll have to wait and play only completed games with finalized tags.

Or how about even a relatable comment after one of 6 content polls he's put up over the years. Again, lot easier to join Team dev-Did-You-Dirty if you can actually do any of that.

Something...anything really, that can't simply be traced solely back to extremist posters on F95 simply taking it upon themselves to make their own extremist interpretations about this dev's own game. A Dev who again by the looks of the total likes and comments activity on his patreon (since his total subs isn't public) over the years looks something you'd expect to maybe not even be breaking 100 subs. 200 tops being super duper generous? A dev who also only made 8 total sporadic posts in 6 months here on f95 back in early 2020 before ghosting out with a last login date of Jun 24, 2020. Which on a related note btw, the only time the term NTR was even mentioned in this thread before the 5 pages of results you'll get from this week was a first time in April 2021, and 1 other time after in Jan 2022.
