You might have the Campfire Bug, In which case , go fishing, catch a fish and then click on campfire to cook it.
If you ran out of wood ; Get wood , get tinder (grass from cave mouth) and reignite,

I modified my campfire fix. Now you just need to pass time once to reactivate the campfire. No need to fish anymore.

That's the end of the content in the current update. You can still look for idols you may have missed, but there's nothing new after that.
