I finished day 18. The best cliffhanger since old timeee radio. The final screen says "You are not prepared." Right, that is how it feels. Tell Kasumi? No, no.
Is it possible to get a a final screen that says "you are prepared" after making a few different choices earlier?

Not prepared. Right, because the dev has not allowed you to choose your allies wisely. You have chosen a two who are
statistically least likely to be your enemies (except that one of them has a very likely enemy for a mom).
Using a military metaphor, the enemy is about to throw a grizzled sarge at you. So you want a couple of equally grizzled sarges at your side when the shit starts coming down. You do not want a couple drinking/whoring buddies who, a year ago, were graduating from high school, as much as those are your bestest pals.
And finally, if there are any who you can be reasonably sure are not the bad guy, they don't need to be there when Pandora arrives and shoots somebody. They don't need to be shouting, who the fuck are you anyway, you just shot my friend? And if it should be that Ishanti is the bad guy and you find that out by choosing her, guess what, the whole situation has suddenly gotten a lot simpler. Think about it.
So you need to sit Ishanti and Skylar down, tell them what is about to happen, tell them that you really need their help right now, that you trust them above everybody else, and love them dearly. If one of them is a bum, you still have the other, right?
But no, max drama is the game. Sorry, dev, I know the score, and I ain't complainin, just sayin.

I'm also not really sure what you're talking about. You don't like the people you have to choose from? Don't like the drama that is about to happen? I'm just not sure where you stand on everything.

I'm not sure how close to spoilers I am getting, or even if spoilers are so important in a game with so few choices.
I mean, if the AI is so smart, why does she accept Pandora's criteria instead of more fully devising her own? And the mc admits that all they really have are guesses and assumptions to decide from. Being better prepared should be possible.
Kasumi's mom is Umiko. Umiko is the one you walk into the teleporter area while she is saying "Remember, the important thing is to havest his body." She is one scary babe, not to mention fairly crazy, and her daughter even crazier. Does the daughter keep the secret from her grandmaster? Maybe, but it is a bad bet.
Sure there are better choices I would like to make, but I am not allowed.
It sounds like you have not played to the end of day 18. The choices are hard coded in. The player does not decide. The AI is accused of being super extra smart far beyond human. The AI rates Ishanti as the most likely number 1 bad guy. I disagree, I would take the chance, but I grant that the AI might be right.

I've played the game to the end. A few times actually. As for spoilers, I personally only mark them when it recently got updated. If it's been a while then I don't do it as often. Unless its a MAJOR MAJOR decision. So I wouldnt worry too much.
there's a lot and I mean A LOT of different routes someone can take. That's part of the reason he added the option in the menu to pick and choose what major decisions and load into Day 16. maybe it was day 17.
Umiko is just like that lol. She's supposed to be that "mad evil scientist" vibe while also being comedic relief. If I remember correctly, she also the one who said she would be the "greatest ally" to the MC. And yeah, it could go either way. We're only on 18 when it goes to 21. There's no telling who ends up being the one to know about Paige.
The dev has said multiple times that the game is going to be more linear. In this thread and even patreon and discord. I suggest joining the discord and Patreon if you're able to. Yes, there is "branching" but it will be connected somewhat. Something like a different pov of something happening is what I think of it at least. Different pov and who is involved more or less. Take the last major decision for example. The same situation will play out its just who is there next to you in a way.
For the camilla thing, she explains why shes mean to the MC. It's a turning point for her character.

The AI is smart, but she also gets off to people having sex. She thrives off us sexual content lol. Paige is team red purely for the threesomes. She also advises the MC on the whole situation as well. Her and the MC don't have much to go off of anyways. It's been 18 days Stranded in space(TM). Yeah sure it would be awesome if the MC knew more but it makes sense why he doesnt. To me at least. He can't really talk about Paige or he dies so its hard to do recon about it. He really only has ideas based on what he knows because he can't talk about Paige.
The next update is said to be the biggest one....again lol. Each update is bigger than the last which I will never complain about. As I said earlier, I suggest joining the discord. Everyone talks about theories and such there.
Could go either way. Especially if she is a farmer's housewife talking about an old hen that has gotten too old to lay more eggs. In this case, the idea is to minimize risk. To me, that is too much to ignore. Not a problem, I wasn't about to tell her. But her daughter, bad choice.
I understand all that. It sounds like you are saying, giving her the apt next door to the mc would have made no difference. That is one of my major questions. How much difference do the actual decisions make? Not much, I guess,
even though there might be difference in sex scenes if Camilla were next door.
And on any path, the chosen ones are Kasumi and Gigi. And dev says I am not prepared at the end.
Enough for me to not choose Gigi and Kasumi anyway.

I have some bad news for the person who originally posted what I'm quoting here. The CIA isn't after you. The moon landing was never faked. The earth is still round. Statistically, people who don't know the meaning of the word statistically fail to include actual statistics to support the point they're trying to make. As a result, it may be some time before we believe anything more that you post, if ever. If we don't see another post from you trying to defend your theory before April, I think we can assume you've understood the point.

he's been posting updates on patreon and even in discord. Hell the discord where I see him most of the time. He put put out an update not too long ago about the next release. I'm not saying you didn't, but catching up on the thread is good. You would see the latest update from the dev a page or two back.
Guys, Borgia did the whistling face at the end of his sarcastic post, and that's just too badass for me to process. Can someone please ask him to reduce his coolness factor by at least 33%?

I mean there is a dev around f95 who not only has mostly abandoned game 1 to work on game 2, but has also started working on his own game source (like steam) devoted to porn games.
Wild man says we can have the next episode in late March, early April. Good, at least it isn't December like another dev I wish would hurry up.

Hello. Hope you're all doing well.
Here's another small-ish rework of another character: Raegan.
I should have a set of Day 19 preview renders in the next week or so. Beyond that, I'm just working on the last of the scenes for the upcoming release.
Hope you like Raegan's new look!
I'm more or less neutral on this. I liked the old look, but this new style doesn't really convince me. The previous one suits her better but maybe it is just being used to her appearance. At least her change isn't fundamental and radical, that's a big plus. Some devs "rework" characters to a degree where you don't exactly recognize them until you read the name...

Personally, I don't like it... current version of Raegan looks like a hot milf and I don't see any reason to change her. This version looks too young and the hairstyle doesn't suit her.

I'm 50-50 on it. I think she looks attractive with the rework, but I also think she already was attractive.
Not sure why the change is needed, unless this meant to be in the story itself: tired of her old style, she just wants something different. So I think it's fine either way.
