I feel like if you're gonna disappear and don't want to lose patrons (if you plan on coming back) you should switch to per major release instead of monthly.
If this is a genuine case of ill health etc. then they're probably gonna come back to tumbleweeds if they aren't careful. I know I'd be cancelling my pledge after no further news and a monthly charge. I'd probably still stay subscribed but I certainly wouldn't stay pledged because I wouldn't want to pay for literally nothing. Single renders, blog-like posts, anything to show you haven't quietly abandoned the thing and are just letting the pledges continue to trickle in would be enough to sate some appetites. Even if it's the occasional sentence, it doesn't have to be much.

I've been wondering about this myself since his last post mentioned spending several weeks in a hospital bed. That was a couple months ago.

Yikes. I'm trying to get something off the ground myself. Mostly being delayed because I'm not as good with coding as I need to be to do what I want. But this is making me think about what would happen if I got something going and dropped dead suddenly. I'm sure a lot of people here keep this stuff away from their real life, it's not easy to tell people you make or consume porn games haha. I guess I should get one of the few IRL friends that I talk to about this stuff involved just in case.

What makes this more depressing for me: this was one of my favorite games on this site. I enjoyed the animation and story a lot. I really wanted to see what happened next, and with future updates. I hope he/she is okay, and they are just taking an extended vacation, or just really busy with IRL stuff, and that someday soon, we'll get an update saying that their will be more in the very near future. Here's hoping.

this is why i try not get excited over a game. when i really find a game i like it dies and becomes abandoned. wish someone could take over this.

The problem here is the work @LocJaw was putting into the renders. It wouldn't just be a case of grabbing the same base models from DAZ and figuring out the right morph slider combinations to get them looking right. It would be a pain in the ass for anyone else to continue this I think. Heavy Photoshop fuckery and frame by frame editing in the animations, that kind of work is probably pretty off-putting for a fan with ideas about continuing the project.
