It is weird, first I thing I would do is to probably check your video drivers and update them.
If that doesn't fix it, hold shift key and keep holding it while you open the game you should see new options, change renderer from auto to either GL2 or Angle2, one uses DirectX the other OpenGl test both to see if it works with one of them.
