Imo the correct choice is to not fight Athena the first time around and negotiate, saving everyone's life. Did I do that? No, I just cheated the option with URM, but there is a path where everyone lives.I am so torn on the last choice. I can't stand Athena but I also hate to have Venus fight Mercury.
I didn't know that. I think I just have a serious issue with Athena's proclivity toward universal punishment for individual misdeeds. That by itself makes me instinctively want to fight her at every single opportunity. It isn't the entire towns fault if someone turns away a stranger, just like it isn't the entire towns fault that several ladies died. Sure, punish those responsible but leave everyone who had no hand in it alone.Imo the correct choice is to not fight Athena the first time around and negotiate, saving everyone's life. Did I do that? Oh, yeah! I spanked that bitch. No way was I walking away from that one.I didn't know that. I feel the second one was in a little more of a grey zone. There were actual risks to the girls safety and actual risks to the towns existence if they just banned the brothel. Still doesn't excuse the scope of the enforcement. Who tf was that cute twink gonna hurt? Nobody.I didn't know that. Athena is what I would call a sympathetic villain. I do feel bad for her and would very much like a redemption path for her where the MC can recruit her to his side. Up to this point, all the decisions feel so black or white with little grey area in between. It is either stand up to Athena or let her do whatever she wants to do. So far there hasn't been a third option where you can reason with her. Maybe I am wrong but if that path exists, I haven't found it. I just can't imagine Athena ever respecting the MC as an equal worthy of listening to if he just lets her do whatever she wants. In fact, standing up to her in that last fight may make her realize that the MC is worthy of her respect, I'm not sure.I feel the second one was in a little more of a grey zone. As for the faceless town it's a failure of the entire town that nobody offered the future fury safe lodging. Problem there wasn't that the who town was punished for the failings of the entire town but rather that future generations who were entirely innocent were still being punished.
Athena honestly doesn't seem to me as bad to me as she's been made out to be though. She's a seriously fucked up and traumatized individual with way more power and authority than she has any business wielding. It's no wonder a lot of the things she's done ended up the way they did. The power structures within the rest of the pantheon seem no less fucked up than her, it's just that the consequences of Athena's bad decisions are faced by the people instead of young and impressionable gods like Athena. I suspect that Flynn had a bit of a redemption path carved out for her given some of the hints we'd gotten in the last update but who knows if we'll ever see it under the new dev team.

I stand corrected. I just hadn't found the path for negotiation.Right

As for respecting MC after the fight, I think it's more that she fears him after the fight. Given that most of her malice is the product of fear and feelings of inadequacy I'm not sure that fighting her helps the case of redeeming her. The variables also indicate this. Fighting her adds 3 to the against_athena variable, leave reduces it by 2 and negotiate, saving both Mercury and Lumi, reduces it by 1. So leave or negotiate reduces how much the MC is against her, presumably improving their relationship and fighting increases how much the MC is against her, presumably worsening it.
Another dev already is working on itDo you guys believe there may be a chance this game comming back?
:C
Top 7 best games ever
I hope they do it justice and don't add any surprise tags to it.Another dev already is working on it
I hadn't seen that option, if in the end they release more chapters maybe I'll watch it again and try that routeRight

Flynn abandoned Stray Incubus, but other people took the mantle as new devs. However, the abandoned tag isn't going anywhere until they release a new update. This actually abandoned or another fuck up from the mods?
I really am glad that this game will see the light again it's one of the top 10 games I ever played , I wish for the other good abandoned games to have someone to convince the developers to take over their works for example ( Path to dominion and Genesis ) , anyway all the best for you and looking forward to the comeback.Quick update!
Hello everyone!
Unfortunately, due to some unforeseen circumstances, Ischwit will no longer be able to work on SI. Thankfully, we have found someone to come and do the renders and animations already, so please welcome Itsnt to the team! This does mean that we will have to delay the release slightly, which I wish we didn't, but that's just the way the apple falls. Thank you for the support as always, and we'll see you again soon for more information regarding chapter 3!
Please see some example renders that Itsnt has made to show you the quality that he will be bringing to the table:
