hello, i start playing chap 1 and so far it was pretty good ( i was hopping for some bulge from the size of the protagonist ) but i just do the convoy manor night part and i really feel like the dev is taking us for pure dumb retard !!!!!! I feel really frustrate from that part and see the prota be thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiissssssssssssss DUMB make me lose it !!!! Like ok i don't get it the first kill ( and i steal think it wasn't obvious due to the unknowing creature of this world and could have been somethink else ) but after all the bad choice from the mc we wake up in the room with again a faceless death and some disaper ( i start to be suspicious but steal not 100% sure but it's like i have the lesson from stephanie about face dopplangger creature repeat itself in my head ) and when i see centoria without any face mark i go in perso gallery and see im not crazy and she have mark on her face and she give shit explanation about the situation im now 100% sure but no we steal have to stay dumb and support all the monor bullshit like separate when you can move in group or the best part where the enemy don't kill us first when we are sleeping ( sry but this part was soooooo bad frustrating and dumb just why ) or the tamara who sleep in this situation but stay awake after and the toys in first room inspection ( in vn mod ) who is obviously a dopp like steph was explaning in his lesson JUST BEFORE THE MISSION and i get it he was thinking i make the mc distracted by his love aura think but pls the other are suppose to have listen the lesson at least and the manor scene is tooooooo much obvious. Sry but i have to let it out but soo far really good game thx dev !!! ( just want to know if i was the only one who almost lose it and just spam clic at all the rest of this bullshit ? )

Calm down, the reason the MC didn't understand the situation from the go was that they were inside an illusion, and if you paid attention , you would understand how it messes with their head to the point of possible permanent trauma.

No.... No, we aren´t... I mean, some sort of abomination that got resurrected by a rookie necromancer is definitely out there... But it got nothing to do with the version Flynn gave us. So, don´t be too excited. It´ll soften the fall.

In my personal opinion? Yep. Sadly it couldn´t be any worse.
The tournament? Laughable.
The pacing? Horrible.

The first release from the new devs was a complete and utter shitshow. Dev and writer didn´t seem to even remotely communicate with each other, some scenes didn´t fit the text and so on.

It´s like... having everything you ever loved about the game get taken away by some wannabe devs who just wanted to make a quick buck from an established product. The dev "threatening" to rework the early version after a debacle like that left a bitter taste aswell. But, to be fair, it´d be better to judge for yourself.

Yeah, it's disappointing. The devs who's working on the game now make everything look like that didn't play the original game at all. There's a lot of things missing which are important character traits, like golden blood, princess looking nothing like Centoria, no animations in fights, it's just slideshow now and very bad pacing of the story in general. But they promised to fix all these things in the future updates.

For what it's worth, the fights themselves didn't have any actual animations for a long time. They were typically just slideshows as well, showing a series of still images to simulate movement. Where the recent update fucked up in that regard wasn't using stills, it was cutting them down to like 1/8 the amount other fight scenes usually had. Made everything feel short and snappy and over all too quick. Which wasn't just a problem limited to the fights, sadly.
