His disdain for Parteon based funding is completely reasonable, considering that currently most of AVN seems to be focused on Patreon and Patreon only. Crowdfunding used to be a way to kickstart the development, not to finance it endlessly, and even then there were very clear conditions that project had to meet, with specific deadlines.

The last release was disappointing to me. I feel like quality in the very beginning of the game was kind of rough, then the game really found its stride and for a while it was excellent. The last chapter was not great IMHO and several aspects felt kind of half-assed.
