Steph is the best, there isn't a ton of scenes with her because she was kind of the hardest for the MC to seduce. She resisted the charm stuff for the longest if you think about it. Probably has something to do with her not being fully human. The other girls kinda lose themselves immediately once the charm magic starts but she was able to walk away several times while she was charmed.

and even have the audacity and publicly threaten to ban everyone who agrees with him/defends him, you are constantly reuploading polls as soon as it´s getting negative feedback because again, you seem to be so full of yourself that you just can´t handle negative criticism, even if it´s constructive.

If you´re not able to turn Peggys writing into "Existence" (Heh, see what i did there? BTW, this project of your has the exact same issues) and instead post your own version of what you think might look good, we´re getting exactly this mess of a first release which already alienated you for a lot of old and possible new Fans and made them lose their trust in you. There was a lot more public bickering on Discord aside from what was shared here which might give you that impression.

Though a ban might not have been a good solution, the person in question had been insufferable and passive-agressive for weeks before the ban, so the outcome is hardly surprising.

How strange that the posted list of their comments were so benign then... but hey, I wasn't there. I'm not on the discord, did go to take a look earlier but the link is too old so didn't arrive there.

You might have to ask the Dev about that, since he himself just posted a Photo as he mentioned and painted that as the reason for the ban, even though, like you already said, there was nothing insulting posted. All you gonna hear is lies and vague comments like " many devs reported him" with nothing to show.

Like it was mentioned, the guy that got banned was a critic. And that just seems to be their way of silencing negative comments. speaking about negative comments... try mentioning the soulless eyes. Even those comments are getting deleted

I know there's always a very vocal minority but... chill guys, the pacing and dialogue and quirks, and most of all, the care for all characters is still there. You really should do some homework before talking.
That guy wasn’t banned just for being rude, he openly supported some downright disgusting, extremist crap. He’s already been banned, and even pre-banned, from plenty of servers.

I dunno, if their goal is to silence criticism on the Discord they haven't exactly done a good job of it. The majority of posts in there regarding the new release are fairly negative reviews, but the difference I see between posts being deleted and being left up is whether they're polite and constructive criticism or just going "yo this blows, do better." It seems to me that negative feedback is fine so long as it's not just shitting on them pointlessly.

Just played the update and I hope that this is just like a rough draft and the final product will be better cuz the game feels bad. The slideshows that you click once and it skips the whole sequence are annoying. The scenes sometimes feel disconnected like the part where the sorceress comes in and then it jumps to the MC next to some snowmen. The combat scenes don't flow very well and are hard to follow. Also, don't know if anyone else had this problem but the rollback would stop working and then I load my last save and it'd start working again.

All in all this doesn't make a very good 1st impression which is very important to get people to help fund the development.

Finished it and it's nowhere near the disaster the town criers have been ripping their clothes about. The graphics are good, animations are solid, and perhaps more importantly, the story feels fresh and yet in tune with the previous chapters, the characters are intriguing and the sex is still sexy. Kudos on that.

That being said, many things are in rough shape:
1. Some of the angles in some sex scenes are simply bad, we can't see what's happening!
2. Make every transition between renders a soft fade in AND stop with the click-it-and-you-miss-it sequences. They both make the scenes feel very rigid and made me lose some details that I had to go back and see/read because I just thought the dialogue was over.
3. Bring good sounds back. They add so much to each scene.
4. KEEP GOING! WE'RE ROOTING FOR YOU! I may support on Patreon after checking the revised first chapter.

I guess we should we glad the game is still alive, but the downgrade in quality is painfully obvious. It's not like is horrible now, it's just that it was one the best VN before. I'll stick around because I was actually immersed in the story.

So I've just finished playing through all of the game again. Mainly because I hadn't done so yet. And also to give the update another chance after I rushed through the initial broken release.
It made the transition feel even rougher.

I think I had forgotten how much effort Flynn actually put into this game.
Once the part in the new elven city rolles around the failings become apparent immediately. The characters suddenly look low-res, facial expressions look weird and the transitions became all choppy.
Strangely the characters look even worse than the samples posted on discord.
You know the ones he had to remake because they didn't fit his fancy lighting technique.
I'm not even gonna mention the writing.
Has anyone actually talked to that illusive writer of theirs?
Because I'm starting to suspect their name starts with Ch and ends in PT

I recommend anyone defending this half of a chapter to replay the original game and then tell me again that this is an acceptable first release.
And to anyone saying it's unfair to compare the two:
If they don't want their game compared to the original, then they should have come up with their own world, story and characters.
But they wanted instant success, so they went for a popular project with tons of built-in good will.
They should have known this would be the reaction if they didn't at least deliver something on par with Flynns earlier chapters.

I will be really surprised if this new team lasts more than a couple of updates. Notice how most of the discussion in here lately is negative and focusing on the team's shitty attitude. If they were doing their job well we would all be too busy playing and praising the new content.
