guys what is the context of the game right now? it's been months since the announcement and I came to see if anything changed or if it's completely dead and this has become a copium thread

Well I can see how it would take a while as they don't have the old assets so the 3D models have to be recreated from scratch that is used for the animation and such. So remember they are not the original developer they don't have the original assets so much of it has to be recreated from scratch.
oh wait, i meant the announcement of the dev saying he had to stop developing the game due to real life problems, is someone else taking over? just came without looking to deeply in the thread and thought it was a joke that the new update was being made to keep the thread and community alive, im so confused i dont want to get my hopes up...

I thought Flynn handed off the project to the new guys? Because I'm sure he would've given them the characters, assets, etc. Did the new guys pick it up by themselves, or did Flynn just not give them anything?
i think its a bit more complicated
it is not easy to just give all assets to random guys becouse they can just leave with it or failed but still take assets.

We have the file provided by flynn, but because the styles of the two people are different, we need to improve it to get the desired quality.

We will finish ch3 first and then consider it after ch3 is released.
Will our previous save files work or will the continuation just be a completely different executable? I hope the quality is as high as Flynn, I am eager to support but feel the need to see at least one release before backing.

as long as there wasn´t a first release by the new devs, it technically still counts as abandoned. A "trust me bro, we´re working on it" just isn´t enough
