It’s been a while since the last update. As you know, CH3 is about to be released, so I’d like to run a quick survey before I start on CH4.
Since CH4 will no longer involve Flynn, I’m planning to tweak the character’s appearance a bit so the visuals better match the render style I’m using now.

I dig the new designs bar Centoria, not that it is bad, but the other characters have comparably less of an overall change. So much so that Centoria's change looks a bit excessive, not sure if that much 'adjustment' was necessary for the style change.
The freckles missing I don't really get, there seems to be no need for that at all if the reason was different render styles. They would still look nice, wouldn't they?
So for the image links my opinion would be: 2,1,1,1.

Gorgeous Anabelle looks much worse
I think it is because of bigger eyes, more visible upper eyelid and a thicker lower one
she looks like she has bags under her eyes (3 nights without sleep)
the black edges of the irises are also too thick
worse character lighting (overall) probably doesn't help either (e.g. that little light reflection on the lips was doing the job, and now it's gone)
IMHO, for now, old Anabelle has to stay!

I prefer Centoria's old hair style but with the new skin texture. I like the new Anabelle and Athena. No opinion for Misty.

Yeah, i´m on the same page. The new Centoria looks hideous. Almost like a totally different character. Her freckles made her look unique. The new hair... Nah. The old model was a thousand times better.
Sadly it´s exactly things like this that makes me worry about the quality of the new product. I don´t doubt it´s gonna find it´s own fanbase but me, personally, i´m just afraid that they also changed Torr or some of the others they didn´t show yet to a point i´m not even excited anymore
The rest of the characters i´m absolutely fine with.
*sigh* guess we´ll just have to wait and see

Instead of just shitting all over other people's hard work, why not try expressing this more constructively, with your opinions expressed in a way that doesn't make the artists want to just abandon this forum, or even project, instead of dealing with rude people. Personally, I think the changes look pretty good overall, except for Centoria, i’d keep the freckles and the old hairstyle. Zycris change looks fine to me, but I think he looks too muscular.

The vote's currently 192 to 37 favouring the new designs. Personally I like every one of them except Centoria, and I dislike the new Centoria enough to vote against all the other changes. Her eyes look dead and her freckles are so covered up you can barely see them. Pretty much takes away from everything that makes her so cute.
Either way unless the Discord gets pretty well raided the new designs are gonna go through. Hopefully there's enough feedback about Centoria's that they go back to the drawing board with her and better preserve what makes her her.
As for the MC's I actually think it's a pretty appropriate change. Especially if there's any bit of a time skip. Bro's been getting stronger at an insane pace, it makes sense that his body would catch up to the rest of him. He is half Greek God. Those dudes weren't typically too skinny.

As far as changes I say who cares. It is their game now. If we don't like it can just stay in the abandoned game. I for one would like the story to continue so do what they gotta do to make it happen. My 2cents for what it is worth. Not much lol

New designs are.... different honestly overall they may even look better but, when it comes to centoria the freckles are like the most unique trail, looks amazing it really does, but certain details are sometimes the ones that weight the most.

Wow the shading of light looks better they don't look so bland. I have to agree with the others on eyes but overall it is definitely getting there in quality. So I like the highlights better and better hair detail. People remember they had to rebuild these models from scratch so if you see something that looks wrong let him know don't discourage as once they get the models right they will remain through the entire game. It's not easy to recreate someone else's work.
It's not that new Centoria is bad, it's that old Centoria was so fucking hot and we were recently teased with almost fucking her. It all generally looks great, but Old Centoria was Gold Centoria
New Centoria looks good. But her eyes are slightly too big which changes the whole vibe around the character. She looks younger and more "innocent" now. Where as the older one gave off a slightly more mature and colder presence.

i like the new char changes, you can tell the old look was way to shiny and the new one knows how the lighting should be so the new ones are good in my books. though for the girls the lips could be a lil better just less shiny than the old look.
Well good news is pretty well every post in the discord is about how the new Centoria look is bad. Just about everyone seems to want her freckles and her old eyes back. The rest of the changes are going over pretty well. One of the devs has acknowledged that people don't seem to like the new Centoria so hopefully we'll get a v2 of her changes soon with a less dramatic change.

Seeing the new devs are actually putting in effort to bring us something we want and would dearly miss we owe them that much respect for their attempt at least.
There is still time for criticism if it actually turns out bad. We are in a reshaping process, that much must have been clear to anyone, really...
