You had to use the crack, the game is only available with a Patreon login or use the crack.

Right click. Chose "Customization". Then you can decide what relation you have with a girl that has only been mentioned in conversation so far.

Mainly? Just for what you see or don't see in LJ games. They seem to go on a linear path, with you just deciding what you want to see or not and doesn't impact the plot at all.
