What's the point of having a leveling system if by the end of the end of the previous game you could argue that the MC was relatively powerful and now just a random thug is several levels above him? and he's just lvl 1?

On another note, it's a bit of an odd choice to have real pictures for every female npc, but have an ai anime generated picture for the protagonist, just like random cannon fodder thug characters.

The level of the enemies at the park in the previous game scales around player level. I believe with the degree of 3. So enemies in the previous game could be 3 levels higher or lower than the player. Regardless, this game is designed in a way that the player is stronger than enemies five levels above him. (1 level is 5 stat points and the player starts with 25 stat points + you get 1 skill point)

The player also has the Specialist Type, which doesn't have stat penalties. The way I think about it, level is just a reflection of your experience. Which is why you level up when you get experience points, right? What compensates for Shin's lack of experience is raw talent(the stat advantages I give you) and combat intelligence(how the player plays the game)

Did I pull this explanation out of my ass? Yes, I did. If I'm being totally honest, it just makes sense for a new game to start at level 1 to me at least.

Every female npc with real pictures will eventually get scenes. As for why the player has an anime avatar, it's because some clips show the male actor's face. It's to make it kiiiinda okay to have the male actor's face show up in the clip. Like if I use Ryan Gosling's face for the MC, you'd think "who the fuck is this guy in the video then???"

I get that the guys in the scenes don't look like the avatar lmao but it gives me a bit of leeway, unowamseyin'?

First of all, this comment was translated by a machine, so it might be awkward.
I have some questions...
1. Why can't the video clips be longer than 5 seconds?
It's better to make five 5-second clips, or two 10-second clips, or even one clip, which would only be 25 seconds long. I don't understand why they split it up. The awkward play time of clicking the next screen + 5 seconds makes the video completely unimmersive.
2. Regarding the combat issue I mentioned in the previous version, the simplification is good,
but why do you insist on a repetitive and tedious combat system instead of just adding text to the combat story? In the previous version, when I mentioned the combat issues, you said it was technically difficult to fix after all the trials had been done, but you ended up rewriting it recently? Couldn't you have done this sooner?
3. Honestly, I quit the previous version, the final version. I didn't even do a remake.
Even so, it seemed like they brought it to a new environment, so I tried playing it, but I think it's better to just watch the AV video. After many updates or when it reaches the final version level,
I'll probably look for this information again.

It might be an ass-pull, but it's a SMART ass-pull. ;)

1. Because the clips are split apart. Like, let's say the shots are: top view, front view, and side view, and let's say the original av spends like 15 seconds on each shot, I would take only 5 seconds from each shot. If I use one continuous clip, you only get to see one or two shots. That star system (clicking the next clip) is a player request. It used to be the same as other games (you get a random clip when the scene loads). The exact words were "I don't want to play porn gacha."

2. Because I'd have to uproot thousands of passages to fix the gameplay. Yes, I could have started from scratch to begin with but I have paying supporters and it doesn't sit right with me to give them stuff they've already seen, you know? The remake was built on this game (the sequel), as in it uses the same backend. The backend for this game took me a month to code, and the transfer of the 15% progress I made in the remake took half. I'd have to stop giving new content for 2 or more months if I started the rewrite early.

3. That's okay. I get that the way I make stories is not for some people. Still, thanks for caring about the game enough to have these opinions. Hopefully, when you come check the game out again in the future, you see enough value in it for you to change your mind.
