Will do, but as I mentioned earlier I've already reloaded saves made less than a game day before they've asked to be friends and they were still friends then. Despite that it's hard to fathom how logic could be doing it as it only started around 6-8 game months ago (about 20 months into the first full 6a.1 play through) and has recently expanded from affecting 1 to 3 NPCs. My money says something is corrupting their 'friend' flag and triggering a new request almost immediately when it does.
That's why I asked to check to see if it still said she's your friend as soon as the interaction starts. I'm tryng to figure out if the relation is being lost or if it's being ignored.
Got a mod request.
How about the number of skill book check out selections are increased and include suitably flagged books you've already read which can be borrowed for the specific purpose of passing on to someone whose skill you wish to improve?
As it stands the skill books you're borrowing after the first few game months are almost always "too advanced" to be given to someone else.
It's a fair request but a ton of work as you describe. However, that's an annoying issue where most characters won't check out enough books to ever be possible to give them a level 3 or above. You are lucky if they can have a level 2. Unless you make a point to hand them the books in order.
Once change I'm thinking about is making the too advanced requirement be based on their current skill, not whether they have read the book. For example, if they have skill of 20 they can read the level 2 book regardless if they have read level 1.
Thank you TotalFluke for the answer and for potentially taking this on board. As Artiour says it should be an option and not a must. I also tried to find a solution for myself that i dont have to boother you in the .tfo files but I'm not much of a programmer and somehow the whole thing confuses me and it looks like something is missing so I suspect that some parts of it is hidden in the .exe. Nevertheless, I'm currently working on characters, I've finished 30 of them now and with CompyUI I get really good results, but usually too many good ones ;-) (I usually generate 200-300 pics per Char). But if I get your blessing I will publish them as soon as I have 50 together. I've also generated male ones but that's actually really depressing but it's also part of it. Thank you again for this great game
So to clarify, a lot of the code is in C#/Unity and it's not exposed via the .tfo files (note that the .tfo files is a low level version of the .tfl files in the tfel directory which should be much more readable, if you are into that sort of thing). And yes, the code that manages the images is in the "hidden" Unity code.
Is there any way to change the open hours in the files for like.. the restaurants and the gym? I wanna make everything open 24/7
No, those are hardcoded all over the place. And even if it wasn't making them open 24/7 would not work because the person working there would be exhausted and not be able to rest. There would need to be multiple workers at each location and for them to take turns working there.
Sending a lewd text to someone while they're occupied working is generating an invitation to their home.
Thanks, will take a look and fix it.
The "get someone to like me more" options don't seem to match well with their hints. I've tried "listen to their problems" on multiple characters with relatively high sociability (25-50) and it never seems to work. Compliments seem to work much more consistently, even on those with high intelligence (50+).
I think that's just bad luck. And the effects are fairly small, specially the higher your sociability is and their opinion of you. The code is very simple and I don't see how it could not be working as intended.
I just 'mingled' at an amateur night and had four nude or semi-nude selfies taken with me while I was nude. Two were with strippers from my club who love attention and have high lewdness (one was 100). Immediately afterwards I checked what people had posted on social media and none of the selfies were there.
I'm yet to see any selfies NPCs have taken with my MC posted to social media. I don't check regularly but probably average a couple of times per week in the early game falling to around once a month in the late game.
The NPC may take a while between taking the photo and posting it. Some are immediate, like the starting a new job, but most require 2 actions by the NCP: take photo, then a view photos (where they decide which photos to post, just like the MC). As I said before, the NPCs have only room for 5 photos, so if enough time passes, they will take more than 5 photos between posting them and they may never get a chance to post a particular photo. (They take a lot more photos that you realize and the percentage that get posted is very small). I just checked my photos and there was one with me and a follower taken by the follower. So it does happen.
Note also that if you are naked on the photo, they will be less likely to post it if they like you. That can negatively affect a relationship so they may not do it in that case.
Have you looked at your own picture collection? Selfies I take with others - or they take with me - seem to go directly there, unless the memory is full.
He's referring to photos others take of you. Those end up on the person who took the photo own collection. If you are seeing photos other take appear in your own collection that's a bug and I'll need more info.
