I think we had a different standard of what reliable is. Part of this game "vision" is to operate with incomplete information. However, I don't want to deceive the player either as in having people straight lie.
Conceded. But it's still a bit incongruous that apparently commissioners are happy to reliably inform you of their voting intentions but prefer to keep mum over which proposals they'll support. (Or dissemble by pretending to talk about proposals when really they're talking about votes.)

If you do see it, do this as soon as the initial screen appears before you respond, click on the girl's name and check to see the relationship to you. See if it says Friend there. If it doesn't then something is causing it to lose it. If it does, then the logic to prevent friends from asking to become friends is not working. This at least will cut in half the reasons why it's happening.

Also periodically check to see if you have the "Ask to Become Friends" option with them. If you do then do the same thing, check to see if they are still your friend or not.
Will do, but as I mentioned earlier I've already reloaded saves made less than a game day before they've asked to be friends and they were still friends then. Despite that it's hard to fathom how logic could be doing it as it only started around 6-8 game months ago (about 20 months into the first full 6a.1 play through) and has recently expanded from affecting 1 to 3 NPCs. My money says something is corrupting their 'friend' flag and triggering a new request almost immediately when it does.

Got a mod request.

How about the number of skill book check out selections are increased and include suitably flagged books you've already read which can be borrowed for the specific purpose of passing on to someone whose skill you wish to improve?

As it stands the skill books you're borrowing after the first few game months are almost always "too advanced" to be given to someone else.

It's not currently possible. The system will use the first one it finds and ignore the other one. It's not something I've considered cause I rather spend time creating new girls rather than adding more views for the same girl. But I can see how others may disagree. Anyway, I'll put it on the list of things to consider adding in the future. No promises so it will likely depend on how easy it is to do.
I remember asking the question some time ago and I honestly been waiting since, the reason is I create 4 images at once for a certain style to make sure I get at least one good result and sometimes there are more than one good image generated which makes it hard to choose between (especially if they have different poses or different levels of revealing).
what I want to suggest is not to make it a mandatory 2 images but to make it an at least 1 image required for each style, that way you wont have to revisit your old images (unless the whole thing adds some load on the PC that it can't handle).
of course this is just a suggestion so no rushing or obliging, the updates we have on the mechanics and the stories are so perfect
Thank you TotalFluke for the answer and for potentially taking this on board. As Artiour says it should be an option and not a must. I also tried to find a solution for myself that i dont have to boother you in the .tfo files but I'm not much of a programmer and somehow the whole thing confuses me and it looks like something is missing so I suspect that some parts of it is hidden in the .exe. Nevertheless, I'm currently working on characters, I've finished 30 of them now and with CompyUI I get really good results, but usually too many good ones ;-) (I usually generate 200-300 pics per Char). But if I get your blessing I will publish them as soon as I have 50 together. I've also generated male ones but that's actually really depressing but it's also part of it. Thank you again for this great game

The "get someone to like me more" options don't seem to match well with their hints. I've tried "listen to their problems" on multiple characters with relatively high sociability (25-50) and it never seems to work. Compliments seem to work much more consistently, even on those with high intelligence (50+).

I'd assumed the MC's attributes play a role in that. So if you're not particularly sociable those with high sociability may not be interested in talking about their problems with you. If you're much more intelligent than someone else your compliments might mean more to them.

You can make them like attention more. That's the main factor in them posting photos. Depending on the clothing, lewdness is also a factor. If it's a selfie they took with someone or a photo of someone else, how much they like that person is also a factor.
I just 'mingled' at an amateur night and had four nude or semi-nude selfies taken with me while I was nude. Two were with strippers from my club who love attention and have high lewdness (one was 100). Immediately afterwards I checked what people had posted on social media and none of the selfies were there.

I'm yet to see any selfies NPCs have taken with my MC posted to social media. I don't check regularly but probably average a couple of times per week in the early game falling to around once a month in the late game.

Have you looked at your own picture collection? Selfies I take with others - or they take with me - seem to go directly there, unless the memory is full.

That's why I asked to check to see if it still said she's your friend as soon as the interaction starts. I'm tryng to figure out if the relation is being lost or if it's being ignored.

It's a fair request but a ton of work as you describe. However, that's an annoying issue where most characters won't check out enough books to ever be possible to give them a level 3 or above. You are lucky if they can have a level 2. Unless you make a point to hand them the books in order.

Once change I'm thinking about is making the too advanced requirement be based on their current skill, not whether they have read the book. For example, if they have skill of 20 they can read the level 2 book regardless if they have read level 1.

So to clarify, a lot of the code is in C#/Unity and it's not exposed via the .tfo files (note that the .tfo files is a low level version of the .tfl files in the tfel directory which should be much more readable, if you are into that sort of thing). And yes, the code that manages the images is in the "hidden" Unity code.

Is there any way to change the open hours in the files for like.. the restaurants and the gym? I wanna make everything open 24/7
No, those are hardcoded all over the place. And even if it wasn't making them open 24/7 would not work because the person working there would be exhausted and not be able to rest. There would need to be multiple workers at each location and for them to take turns working there.

Sending a lewd text to someone while they're occupied working is generating an invitation to their home.
Thanks, will take a look and fix it.

I think that's just bad luck. And the effects are fairly small, specially the higher your sociability is and their opinion of you. The code is very simple and I don't see how it could not be working as intended.

The NPC may take a while between taking the photo and posting it. Some are immediate, like the starting a new job, but most require 2 actions by the NCP: take photo, then a view photos (where they decide which photos to post, just like the MC). As I said before, the NPCs have only room for 5 photos, so if enough time passes, they will take more than 5 photos between posting them and they may never get a chance to post a particular photo. (They take a lot more photos that you realize and the percentage that get posted is very small). I just checked my photos and there was one with me and a follower taken by the follower. So it does happen.

Note also that if you are naked on the photo, they will be less likely to post it if they like you. That can negatively affect a relationship so they may not do it in that case.

He's referring to photos others take of you. Those end up on the person who took the photo own collection. If you are seeing photos other take appear in your own collection that's a bug and I'll need more info.

I'm sure you're right. But if the effect is that small, maybe it should only be mentioned somewhere in help text rather than prominently in the UI. if I've taken the time to learn someone's characteristics, and the game tells me that one approach will be more likely to work on them than another, I'd expect that effect to be significant enough to be distinguishable.

I'd assumed that was already the case and have been trying unsuccessfully to pass my completed skill books onto some of my more advanced employees who I'd influenced to love reading, particularly managers who already have college degrees.

Note also that if you are naked on the photo, they will be less likely to post it if they like you. That can negatively affect a relationship so they may not do it in that case.
At this stage of the game, with public nudity and sex in public allowed, it's rare to get a negative response to even the most explicit photos. But on a related issue it seems a little odd that reposting a photo the NPC himself/herself has posted to social media can offend them for 'invading their privacy'.

BTW, I'm guessing Alana's suggestion she performs on stage with her daughter was just a pitch. After employing her and influencing her and her daughter to be more positive towards each other there's still no sign they might perform together either on or, *ahem*, off stage.

I guess it's conclusive. NPCs lie in their job applications.

I employed Davey Black as a janitor at the start of the game when he admitted he had no work experience. But his 100 Lewdness made him an ideal candidate when an election came up for his district, so I sent him to City Hall.

Two years later all the laws I'm interested in have been passed so I've stopped paying attention to elections and Davey was rolled by my marketing manager.

Now Davey is back at my club looking for work and making exaggerated claims about his experience. I guess that's the sort of skill working in politics teaches you.

That's a skinwalker.
Maybe. She reminds me of some of the Sabbat bloodsuckers in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines.

If you're into Native American spell weavers you might be interested in hearing what an angakkuq sounds like.

Not sure which clan tends to have the most elongated and gangly limbs but she definitely isn't human.

While not entirely satisfactory and needing some kind of dumbness on their part, this one could be explained, because if they post it, only their friends see it (never mind that anybody you met is your friend on social media immediately), but when somebody else posts it, total strangers can see it. Or their mother which they blocked ages ago.

Granted, possibly not the explanation intended by Fluke, and a bit of a stretch in any case, but it'd work in a way.

By the way, have you seen his "comfortable clothes" picture? One of the worse guys in general IMO.

This applicant says she has 1 year's experience as a sex worker.
No wonder she needs a new job.

Well, nobody is perfect. That is overly perfect imperfection though. Wonder whether the bug (since she cannot be below -100 in theory) can be repaired by, uhm, "training".
