I've noticed that there are certain characters/looks in the game that tend to usually be lesbians, and have wondered if they're coded to be more likely to be so.

Or it would be nice if we could influence that when a game pre-rolls (random chance), lol.

-100 (attraction) means probably not attracted to your gender, probably lesbian. There are ways though...

What ways are you referring to? I have one dancer who is "asexual" although I can change her opinions to like sex (LOL) - but no matter if I change her attractions to match me physically, she still stays at -100. Any ideas how to change that?

There's thousands of decisions in the game. Documenting all those will take forever, and more importantly it would take way too long to keep up to date. I've looked into some system that provides additional visibility when you make the decision (similar to how Crusader Kings works) but the logic to do that has been too daunting so far so haven't gotten very far with it.

I also wouldn't say that there are lots of places that have a hardcoded minimal lewdness. Taking a job is one, but that's the only obvious one I can think of. (There are probably others but there are few and not very important). In general, you can override low lewdness with high social if they have low will or some other combination of attributes. It is possible that due to way the formulas work and the fact that all attributes have a max of 100, that there would be some actual minimum lewdness that will make a character do something.

There's no pro-active way for you to change someone lewdness at this time. I have a couple of things planned but they aren't there yet and they won't be easy or work in every case. However, the lewdness of characters goes up every time their home district's lewdness goes up. So as time goes by, you will slowly see everyone become more lewd.




In theory if a room gets stuck, they should be recognized as stuck after a few weeks and then should fix itself.



Nope, there's absolutely no coded correlation there. Another example of the human brain seeing patterns where they aren't any.



Yes, I'm aware of this is an annoying situation. I've been meaning to fix it for a while. Originally everyone had a annual salary but then I realized I wanted some employees to get paid only for the hours they worked and that made a mess of everything. Will fix soon.



Save files are only generated if you haven't saved in 20 days by default (value is configurable if you want it done more often).

Is there any kind of best practice advice for getting started and simply conservatively growing your club once you start? I hire inexpensive bar tenders who have positive skill levels, regular alcohol stock, and my fame and points slowly rise, but I lose money day after day until I'm broke by summer every time I start. I can't seem to figure out how to avoid that.

I always expect to go into debt now. As long as your debt stays under 20k you'll be fine. It sounds like you're doing everything right.

Here's some more info.

The most important hint is not too hire too many people until you have the revenue to pay for them. Only hire a bartender, then a cook and pay them as little as possible. Don't hire anyone else until you can hire a singer/dancer. Then hire the singer/dancer (just one) and then hire a waitress. That should bring your fame up quite a bit and start bringing in more customers. You then should get to cash flow positive soon afterwards. Then you can hire whoever else you need.

OK, thank you for that. I was thinking I must either be doing something very wrong or just have horrible luck. The game keeps prompting me to build a kitchen, but when I do it just accelerates my path to debt.

In the beginning, purchasing small quantities of the highest quality alcohol allows you to go as far as doubling your starting drink costs. Makes a massive difference while scraping by without other revenue streams (meals / door).

It's not going to bring people charging through your doors, but the margins offset the low attendance.

Sorry, I have no idea how do to that. I'm sure I could figure it out eventually but I don't know what's involved.

According to my understanding of the unity engine, it seems that the font referenced in the UI does not contain double-byte characters, and as far as I know about the game, Japanese and kanji can be displayed normally in the msg part, and it can also be displayed normally in the name input box at the beginning of the game, and everything else will be replaced with boxes that cannot display the correct characters.
And it's clear that even if the text display problem is taken care of, the game is still currently having problems with the automatic line breaking of double-byte text.

Even under conditions that should be completely ideal: character with max lewdness, loves public nudity, not wearing underwear, and revealing clothes, public nudity is legal, characters will still very seldom go out nude. Once every six ingame months or so somebody will forget their clothes and that's it. Is there a way we can tweak the character AI to go nude more often?

Edit: One suggestion on this note: can we edit the club "dress code" maybe? I do notice that as the game advances you get the ability to ask your employees to wear sexier outfits when evaluating them, but the game decides whether their current outfit is sexy enough to trigger the event. Could we maybe gain the ability to change the sexiness level? At endgame, with public nudity legalized, I'd love to have a strip club with all employees nude at all times.

I wish that was the case too, but perhaps the law is the biggest deterrent. I haven't gotten nearly far enough into the game to change that myself, but I have occasionally encountered nude and topless characters in public, so it does happen.

well, this fix fixed nothing. my club is still empty as usual. no visiting npc´s at all while im earning 6k+ per day...
i like the managment aspect in this game but to be honest: its boring! theres absolutly nothing spicey to see, just a few lewd texts and nude pics from random, unknown girls with fakeheads. i can see this pics on internet without the need of grind for hours. would be nice to see here some "porny stuff" like vids/gifs with stripping/dancing from your employed girls, some lewd stuff/sex scenes with the girls you are dating and so on. thats the only reason we all are here.

I think your club may be the issue, mine has two or three non-staff npc's in almost every room, sometimes quite a few more in the main seating areas. How is your fame and how are you doing compared with the other clubs?

fame is 200+, maybe alreaday near 300. i only visited once onother club. it was empty as well. i dont care much about them.
just try to calculate it: im earning round 6500 bucks per day. this is 195.000 bucks per month... and you are trying to say, your 1-2 visitors per room are paying this??? nice, they all must be billionars. my club must be overcroweded with hundrats of people, at least on weekends, to fullfill my earnings^^ this numbers cant be presented in this little indi game but only 1-2 daily visitors is just "meh" and must lead to your bankrupt. sometimes im meeting 10-15 people at the city park. i also tried to massage everybody from my contact list and asked where they are. they are mostly working or at home. almost nobody seems to visit any club.
