Excellent, that helps a lot. I would have never found it without that and would have required to actually see it myself. But that's an unlikely situation so I may have never run into it - the sister normally has a roommate in order for that scene to trigger but in this case the roommate must have moved out for some reason just before. And the code is crashing due to the roommate not existing.

I've attached what I hope is a fix. Unpack this file and copy it to the tfel/stories folder, making sure to overwrite the older sister.tfl file. If the folder doesn't already have such a file, you are putting it in the wrong place. I said "hope" because I can't test it right now. Which probably means I screwed something up and it won't work.

Will try it and let you know. Appreciate not easy to find the issues - I'm a developer so should have provided better info.

The weird thing is she does seem to have a roommate - when "going home" with her roommate it goes to their place. I wondered if it is an issue with the new way of getting roommates (although this is a new playthrough in 1.11 so that has already fired multiple times), or something like that? Not well versed in unity so can't help much more than that I'm afraid.

When presented with the images of two different NPCs, accessing the character page for the NPC on the left causes the character call to duplicate and replace the NPC on the right.

Have confirmed this happens consistently in cult meetings and the amateur show (shown below). Haven't yet tested in other scenarios that call two characters (sister date in club / threesomes / park dates).

I didn't comment because there were not enough details for me to guess what could go wrong. When this happens, it helps a lot to tell me the last text you saw. I understand than in this case it went away so you can't make a note of it. If it happens again, just pay attention carefully to the text and then quote that (or provide a screen shot). Also you can look at the log file (usually at C:\Users\<your name>\AppData\LocalLow\Total Fluke Studios\StripClubWars\Player.log) and if the scene crashed there should be details there that can help me. Look for either error or dump in the file from the bottom up. Note that the file is not written right away, so you may need to wait a while for it to see it appear.



There's logic already in place to manage the number of events that popup relative to the number of people characters in the game. As more characters are added, the number of actions they take goes down. Job-related actions are not affected by this, so it still will feel more busy when you have a lot of employees, but that's unavoidable. But the probability of getting a random text wishing you a good evening or someone asking you to go out while out on the town goes down as the game progresses.

As for having different speeds, the challenge is that a lot of these story lines are interconnected with the progress in your club. Changing the speed would then be likely to mess things up and it's already very hard to keep things in sync in one speed. I just wouldn't have the time to make sure that all the speeds worked. This is really the hardest part of developing the game. I can test a specific scene easily enough but making sure it fits within the rest of the game requires a lot of play testing.

It's not that it got the gender wrong, is that that scene is only available for man/woman. It should have not given you an option there. Either way is a problem and I need to fix it.

Yeah, that bug has been around forever. I think you are the first one to point it out.

Do you mean being able to add more rooms or having more kinds of rooms to add? But the answer is I don't know. There's something I want to do along those lines, but haven't started that work.

The text appears if you ask a girl for a private dance.
It should be "Well,that will depend on her"
It happens for a long time,just didnt saw anyone mentioning it yet.

I will now throw some suggestions,hope something sticks

A new storyline about blackmailing perhaps?
It could involve us(the club),the city commissionairs,the police,the private detective,our shady Oneball,throwing some traitors/snitches in it...just let your imagination play.
So,overall a big and long story spun over few updates...like an introduction as part 1,accusations/drama part 2, the imperiums fights back in part 3 and an end as a result of your choices in part 4 involving futher bribery,blackmailing or capitulation.

Some thoughts:
-I had only 2 visits from inspectors in the early stages of my club,i had no visits from them since. Did the visits stop coz i am good with a certain commissionair?
If its a bug, lets give it a look.
Depending on their inspections it could result in bribery,doing favours and such to avoid big monetary sanctions?

-In the early stages of the game i could compliment girl for theitr choice of clothes,cant do that since.

Suggestions:
-As a logical continuation from the porn actor story maybe opening an own porn studio?
It could have photo shootings, porn shootings, escort requests or things like harmless jobs where girls are sent to promote openings of new stores,car dealers and such.

-Girls mud wrestling(i guess its as unlikely as my last suggestion for wet shirt contests coz of the limitations of pics)

-Volleyball matches on the beach, nude matches on the nude beach.
One team should be formed and owned by us, we should be able to setup interviews for sporty girls/guys.

-The parking lot could be used for illegal drag racing? The club must close during that event at late night?


*With all that said,i would like to point out that i am no dev(if you havent figured out by now lol) and have not a slightest idea how time consuming some changes could be or technically (not) possible*

The problem I see, is that the first law is: No Tip Sharing, but the Last Law is Regular Tip Sharing. You have both.

If you use the cheat "enable_law", if dont enable the laws in order that they are meant to be passed, the game does not clean up the old law. Here you added, "mid_tip_wh" without first adding "low_tip_wh". The replace law function for "no_tip_wh" didnt run. So, you still have the No Tip Law on the books. And since the management screen found that law, you cant implement tip sharing.

Edit: if this was from the fast start system, then yes it is a bug.

Finally got to a point where I can redo the scene - it's only doing the friend variant now. So not crashing anymore but not getting any other options (no bf yet so that makes sense to not happen). Sister and roommate both still show as student, both still show as roommate with each other from both sides. Roommate also showing as in the room at the same time as the event happens (can see their name in the list), just that roommate event never triggers

So there's two inspectors (that's my bad, I created a second one when I forgot the first one already existed). Anyway one is the health inspector and that's part of the random "club disasters", that include the pipes bursting, the kitchen fire, the fight, etc. But yeah, now that you mention it I haven't seen that trigger in a long time. In fact in my latest save there's no even such a character created so it hasn't triggered for any club. So I need to investigate that.

There's also a separate club inspector that shows up when one of these things happen:
* Someone undresses too much in an amateur contest (and someone else reports it)
* Someone had sex during a massage or private room session (and someone reports it)
* Another club is trying to sabotage your club and submitted a fake report.
* You want to apply for a loan forgiveness.

So as time passes, she is less likely to show up because later laws make the first 2 moot.

Similarly the sexy clothes stuff is only available when they are wearing some sexier than allowed. As the laws are passed that allow it you will have less opportunity to use it.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've added them to the list of things to consider. The wrestling idea is interesting to me not on mud because lack of images, but normal wrestling with people being able to wager on the winner.

So the tip sharing law is not affected by the fast start system so that's not it. So it's probably due to using the console to add the law. Unless there's a bug somewhere that cause that law not to be removed.

The old way of determining roommates compared their homes, but that was very slow and inefficient so I changed it on the last version to be faster. But it probably caused this bug. Had a look and don't see a friend flag on their relationship in the save file. They both have the following

roommate-none-none-none-none-roommate

I haven't had this event in earlier playthroughs so I can't really comment on how it worked previously. It does seem there is an issue going on somewhere where it is getting the Roommate and it's more than just relations.

Sorry but, for the inspectors it could be done that with the most lascivious laws they enforce them, for example, if you have an employee who is too modest and does not wear sexy clothes the inspector fines you and forces the employee to change.

I don't know if it can be done but surprise or periodic inspections could be added, (so as not to cast the inspector into oblivion).

The thing I HATE about this game is that Sodomy is the be all end all of sex. I have lots of expierence on that scene and while that may be the case for gay men, it MOST CERTAINLY is not for women and normal men I've met and played with 95% of the scene. Sodomy is considered one tiny step up from beastiality. No one does it likes it advances it, it considered low life by normals. Just saying I don't know what part of the jungle you come from but that just isn't the case normally.

TotalFluke more pregnancy pictures and content would eventually be great. I also feel the game would benefit from making the sexual interactions have a bit more feeling to them. You do this, she did that isn't that interactive. Having NPCs react to things, talk, or ask for the things they are interested in would be nice.

I've been having problems with the rivals ignoring all of the unemployed people and constantly trying to recruit my entertainers. My performers never take em up on the offer but they just keep at it. I was wondering if there's something I can change so that they always have to recruit people like I do without the cheaty recruiting abilities they have to default everyone to fair wage. Often times they lose that ability after the little sister spawns in, but in a recent game they kept that ability even after she arrived over 11 months in and they had no entertainers cuz they would not stop bothering mine for interviews.

Small bug report : i fully trained an singer in singing up to 100. Now when i want to train her in dancing because it's a valid secondary stat for this job, that's the only choice i can make in the "what do you want to train" list, so i pick that.
But when the training start, it reverted to training her in singing, it show me the singing stats again, and i made no progress in dancing.

Wow,where did that came from?

Well it is the truth as I see it. Sex in this game orbits ass fucking period, every chick wants to be sodomized or sodomize you, if not all 90%. That is almost more a taboo then incest or racism, yet is treated as if it is the pinnacle of sex by almost all the women and that just isn't true with my experience in life, most consider it very very very low life behavior. Just saying it was kind of funny at first to miss click and get fucked in the ass, but all the f ing time every time is just boring and stupid. Fuck it I'm wrong I'm wrong. But that is how I see it, and if I see it maybe someone else sees it that way. That isn't the normal for most people and is considered beastiality by most folk.
