So I was hoping I could find all the preg images in the character folder so I used the search bar in file explorer for Windows, and it returned no results, despite finding them in the folders, the search bar could not get me the files by the file names.

I don't understand the image files, are you just looking for all filenames with preg in them?

The Windows search box works really weird. I never remember the right way to use it. But it's has nothing to do with me.

I checked and found this:

Yea, your ai_cost_mult is set to 1 so that's not it. I have another fix that I'll put out as a patch soon that hopefully prevents this in the future. But without knowing exactly what it was I can't be sure.

The older sister always showed up within the first week or two whenever I started a new game on previous versions - now I can't get her to show up at all.

I've confirmed the younger sister showing up by zooming through some time - though getting the mother to spawn has only happened once for me ever through plenty of restarts.

Any ideas why the older sister won't spawn? (also any ideas on getting the mother to spawn consistently?)

The first time she will send send you a job recommendation will be within 5-20 days of game start. That hasn't changed in a long time. If she's not appearing then something is wrong. The mother spawns after 14 months of game time.

Ok, I thought you could say no in the very first meeting. But now I don't see it. I will need to add that.

A bit of a strange question if I create a character and (for example) I put scw-00001-f4w-mnsll-lsm-x-head (original file) and I put three other images naming them scw-00001-f1w-mnsll-lsm-x-head, scw-00001-f2w-mnsll-lsm-x-head, scw-00001-f3w-mnsll-lsm-x-head do they work with the scw-00001 images or do I have to copy and rename all the images?

You can't do that. There can only be one "head" file per image set. There's a document in the game main directory that explains how the image system works and how to create your own images. Please look at that first.

You can turn off all pregnancy and birth control stuff by putting "pregnancy" without quotes on the taboo's list. You can do that via the in-game options. You will need to restart the game for it to take effect.

such a strange bug popped up on me. (I immediately write that I only change stats for MC, in the case of other heroes I only change, or rather correct greed and will.) And here is the situation and bug. I hire my sister as a bartender. When I manage to find a better one and hire her, I transfer my sister to janitor, and I start training her. During training, at values 60 and higher, the values start to rise every 2nd-3rd training, despite success every time. At 93, the end does not move for a month of training. (always positive news.

It's not a bug. It just means that her improvement was too small and didn't update the top number. The higher their skill goes, the harder it is to improve it and the smaller the improvments. So if she was at 60.0 and then improved by 0.4, then she still at 60.4 which the game shows as 60. That's what the "It's not worth" option is for: the improvements are so small that's not worth the effort.

Likely just bad RNG. I started a few new games on the last couple versions, and sometimes she gets a call in with someone in the first 1-3 days of posting, other times she can go long enough I have already filled the jobs from randoms so she never gets the chance.

Finally got on to try the "dump p 3" command in console after starting a new game and going through the stat assignment. She doesn't show in that list (there's no 'closest friend' mention at all) - so I used "list persons" and checked that list as well, and she doesn't show up in there at all either (the list is relatively short within the first few turns so easy enough to check each name)

EDIT: I've forwarded about a month and still no show RIP sister, we hardly knew ye.

I'm guessing it's a genuine bug or something I've done wrong - but I downloaded the main file fresh and only copied across the image packs from previous.

Definitely sounds like a bug. Were you not even getting the prompts to assign her image after creating your own character? She gets generated at that moment, and automatically added to your contact list, so if she is not then something broke somewhere in there. Unless TotalFluke has any ideas, I'd say redownload the game fresh and reinstall into a clean folder with that (reusing your existing image pack folders should be fine), it could just be a corrupted part of the download.

You can use any or all of the user contributed packs in combination with the base scw packs. (I would not recommend playing with contributed packs alone, as there are not enough sets without the scw packs.)

When raising the Lewdness level of a chosen member and it gets to the point where you can 'train' them in sexual activity, if you're the only male present the game declares there's no suitable candidates.

If there's another male present (even if it's a blow-in who's not actually part of the cult), you're then able to nominate yourself as the active male party.

I've seen several times when there is MM sex, it treats the "have sex" option like someone is getting penetrated in their vag.

Maybe the descriptive text for MM "vag_sex" could be rewritten as 69. Possibly FF as well. I tried just adding something to sex_actions.txt, but either I did it wrong or the game isn't coded to recognize a ".mm" string there.

There is a list with requirements for the npcs stories? I´ve seen the cult (and take control), the investor and his family (I don´t know is there anything after dinner), two npc investigators come but didn´t do anything, and a mobster has trying to beat me for not play protection fee.

(thats not the order, thats just activating the packs that are installed)

pref_image_modules string scw=0,dstu=5,exp=10,tot=45,lfm=60,ofg=40,ccw=15,nyb=20,alm=20,gar=25,old=50,crc=10,wol=100

The first line shows pretty much every pack that exists enabled, exception is WOL, that is a pack that consists of my edits made from older packs(pack versions), that have their models tweaked/exchanged or just doubled some others and renamed and edited them a little.

The second line show the priority from which the game loads the pics, with 100 the highest and 0 the lowest.
As SCW has the most pics its loading less frequent to give me more variety and my WOL privates are often used for the initial chars, sisters and co, which is why its at 100 and that how you can sort that to your preference.

You can also increase the amount of selectable chars for your char creation:

init_mc_image_choices int 500 (thats usually at just 25^^)
with that massive amount available, there will be all chars shown that fit to your selected criteria, tho that also results in a massive clicky orgy, to get thru them all.

Unfortunately his links are always temporary ones lasting just a week or so, he also keeps expanding it iirc, currently there are 6 chars with a boatload of pictures to them.
So you need to check his posts to see if or when he posts a new link.

OLD and CRC are even older and can be found somewhere here in the thread.
CRC has only 1 Char in it, was probably a test or so, dont remember, i'll attach what i have.
Could also be that this was this slightly more comic AI one, which i didnt like for the most part for this game, so there were much more, look it up somewhere in the thread.

OLD is way too big tho, 10 chars about 170Mb
TOT 6 chars about 100Mb

The sister gets created right after you pick your own character stats/image. Did that process complete properly?

If you don't have the "closest_friend" field set it means it didn't even try to create an image for her. The only thing before that that could cause an issue is the logic to determine the gender and age of the sister. What's your character's age and sex orientation?

Can you start another game and see if the same thing happens. You only need to play the first couple of moves. Not even a full day. Just long enough to create your character. After that pass time once and check your contacts to see if the sister is there.

The MM sex stuff requires a lot of work. I haven't looked at it in forever. Hasn't been a high priority. In theory the vag_sex option shouldn't appear for MM and go straight into anal.

Not sure exactly what you mean. Most stories trigger via fairly passive means, either a time basis (for example the college sister story starts in July, the MC's mom in March of the second year) or when some threshold is reached (the mafia dudes start to show up when at least 3 clubs are making money, the movie offer starts after you hire a stripper). The cult story starts when you check out a naughty book from the library. That's really the only one I can think of that requires you to do something specific to trigger it.
