This is the top section of the <game folder>\data\modifiers.txt . Hope that helps.
Code:
# Format:
# mod <mod_id> "<label>" <base> <decay> <limit> gossip_type
# traits <trait>:<effect> ...
# likes <like>:<effect>
# taboo <taboo>
#
# <base> is the base effect that modifier has on the opinion
# A value of 50 adds 50 points to the opinion
# Set it to 0 for it to be just a flag
# <decay> shows how many points it drops per year. If 0 it never goes down
# <trait>:<effect> changes the base value by <effect> times the trait value
# of the NPC
# <like>:<effect> changes the base value by <effect> times 50x the opinion
# of the NPC of <like>
#
# <limit> is how many instances of this modifier can be active at once
#
# The values for effect are floats in the -1:1 range.
#
# For example for close_family an NPC with trait of comp=40 and who dislikes
# family would have an initial mod value of: 50 + 0.2*40 + 0.4*(-1*50) = 38
#
# Note that if the initial value changes sign, then it's not applied (i.e a
# negative opinion can't be turned into a positive one becaue of traits/likes)
#
# Careful: don't create a modifier with key starting with "like_". Those are
# dynamically created from the like values.
#
# Default modifiers - these are based on the relationship type (they don't decay)
#
# Family relations #####################################
#
# max: 50+0.2*100+0.1*100 = 80

Honestly the first time I've ever had a zip file tell me:

A. That I can't rename it because it might be infected
B. That I can't delete it because it might be infected

Scanning and quarantining it with Defender allowed me to delete it at least. Think I'll give this one a wide berth.

Is there a mod or other in-game method to remove the ridiculous masks worn by all the default character models?

They are placeholders. Download at least 1-2 imagepacks from OP and put them into "character" folder. Then they won't show up again.
Edit: not sure if game is still working if you delete this default folder, but at least you could delete all exept of 1 male/female and see what happens. Make a backup from default folder before deleting.

On DC, there is already ver. 2.01
Maybe it's better to download straight from the link the dev provided instead of unclear filehosts that tend to add something extra to your rar.

I wish I could avoid those virus warnings (or at least understood why they are happening). The other day when I downloaded the file I was also getting the warning. But today I'm not. Even though is the same file. I have no idea why it does that. If someone has any ideas on what I can do to prevent that from happening, please let me know. (This has been happening for a few updates now and I've tried 3 different zip tools with no difference).

But if you are uncomfortable opening the zip file after getting that warning, I understand.

Do not delete the characters/Default folder or images in it. If you delete the masked images and the game needs to show one, it will instead show a black square box. If you are getting the masked images is because the game ran out of images it could use for a given character. The answer is to install more image packs.

Can we delete the Defaults folder to not get any masked characters? (NVM I found an old answer that the Defaults folder is required)

Can we delete unnecessary characters from our contact list?
Did anyone ever create a new folder with all the Mask People replaced with new images with the same name as the Masks Images?

There are like 2 or 3 files all says 2.01 on the GoFile link. Maybe some of them do and some don't.

Is there a way, either by console command or editing the save file, to remove a single character's pregnancy? I don't want to disable the feature. My sister got pregnant by a loser and I need to convince her to abort

Talk to your gf -> Change an opinion -> sexual acts -> I want a topic I dont have opinion on -> cheating on partner
If you have opinion on 'cheating on partner' dont select 'I want a topic I dont have opinion on'. But if she catches you like 10 times with others she can still broke up with you.
I made my girls love polyamorous, hate monogamy, hate cheating. That way they won't have a problem with mc cheating but won't cheat themselves.

I attempted to savegame hack a pregnancy away and broke my save game. A lot of stuff gets created when a character gets pregnant and and finding all the references and pointers without leaving something that points to nothing is difficult.

What does this do? Max AI NPC to Take Action:

I have a killer machine so do I crank it just because I can, or would this increase the difficulty level?

I doubt there is, but I know where you're coming from. The one way I was able to avoid stuff like this was by setting the pregnancy chance to 5 instead of 50.

sigh ....20% my online scanners mark it as suspicious , 80% says its safe , when unpacked with winace .... no virus/trojan nothing detected in the extracted files ... so i think it's something in the zip header ....
Never was infected the zip was never the issue your browser/computer was ads/injectors/malware already running etc when making a definitive virus/malware search its not a good idea to use an online virus checker they themselves may be comprimised such is the nature of browsers

I downloaded mixdrop file at first and WD gave me a warning and quarantined the file, tried it again yesterday and for some reason it wasn't flagged this time. Go figure.
