I understand the dev may view it as a bit broken but I would love to have the option of extending the slave's contract perhaps indefinitely based on if that person is submissive, likes following orders and is loyal and like being your slave. I don't think it that is unreasonable but if it is too broken maybe make it an option to turn on or off if it isn't too hard to add?

Also there should be punishments for slaves that extend their contracts if they misbehave like not wanting to wear what you tell them to.

There should be I don't know what they are call but events where loved ones of the enslaved person i.e. mothers, fathers, boyfriends, husband, girlfriends, wives confront the player after the player has a slave contract. Possibly options to respond could be offer to sell the contract to that person, trade the contract so you would release the person you hold the contract for in exchange for the person confronting you taking their place, releasing the contract the nice guy option, refusing to release the contract the neutral option, and the mean option of exploiting the contract in front of that person by either stripping, having sex with the slave in front of the confronting person or ordering the slave have sex with the person confronting the player.

As mentioned above this post, you don't need to alter any mod file or anything. Once you launch the game you go into "Options", scroll down to "Characters" and simply add the 3 letter module keys for all image packs you're using. For instance mine looks like this:

Yours may differ depending on which ones are in your folders but you get the idea.

If for whatever reason the game doesn't launch due to the game not having those listed you can also add a line to the "user_config.dat" file (located in the game's main directory, and use notepad or notepad++ to open it) like this:

Obviously only adding the module keys for packs you're using. Hope that helped.

I should really make some more of these one day... xD
Thank you !!!

Just a few thoughts on v2:
1. It's a "remake", not a "sequel"
2. The UI is more polished
3. There are more interactions with special characters (relatives, employees, friends), making it easier to discover stats and opinions
4. It feels easier... NPC's are more willing to interact and go "all the way" and, if you hire a decent bartender, you do see a difference in terms of satisfaction and revenues.
5. Introducing yourself doesn't advance time, which means you can meet all the NPC's in a couple of days.
6. There are new stats, such as stress and loyalty, but I haven't played enough to see their actual impact on gameplay.
7. Happiness has been re-designed, I think opinions and stats/skills have an greater influence on it. I'm not sure, but I guess that's one of the reasons for point Nr. 4.
8. Newly generated NPC's stay unemployed for a longer period of time, so that you're not forced to hire the first warm body who knocks on your door. I also see some turnover early in the game (like a bartender who left/got fired after a couple of weeks and a lifeguard who changed jobs fairly soon), which, again, contributes to point Nr. 4.
9. Passing laws is the same hit-or-miss.
10. The only bug (?) I found so far is that, as soon as you start building the kitchen (and hire an architect for that! Nice touch!!) you can set the price for meals and, sometimes, you see a message that your clients are not satisfed with your food service...

Dev mentioned earlier that the reason for the longer time for the update is due to him updating it to a full v2.0 release, instead of a v1.XX. So a lot more is going into this one, but should be out very shortly. (I've been checking daily for the drop!)

I made a longer name list. Used census data from 2010. Last names - all caps - BFD to me but not nearly as many NPC with Noname as a name.

I feel like I haven't even seen some of these ones before haha. There needs to be a compendium somewhere XD

When I want the Commission to pass a law, I was suggested I give/change opinions of the Commission, e.g. "likes entertainment work"... but what does these negative numbers mean? Do they have to dislike financial work, helping others, etc.? Immagine 2025-06-15 114605.png

1. It's a "remake", not a "sequel"
to add to this point

it cant even really be called a standard remake either. more a refiguring. he improved and added to practically everything. very little had any massive changes and those that did didn't cause changes to how the game was played before.

the game is pretty much the same just 10x better. which seys alot as this game was already put together well to begin with.
