A whole lot of fixes for sure, but the inbalance of combat versus management is still not adressed.
I am quiet disappointed actually... anyone knows wether there are plans on that regard?
I think there are several possibilities without changeing that much of the main mechanics of the game, includeing getting some old mechanics from the first game back

Unsure what things you are disappointed about. But personally the changes to the dating/sex options and the loyalty system always bothered me. Which is why when i make a new save, i go into the save game files and change it to where i have infinite "dating and Sex" interactions, as well as giving all my "slaves and peons" 1500 loyalty to just unlock everything from the getgo.
as well as free upgrades.
Ill list a few things you can change below within your save file.
Hopefully the game dev and admins don't get too mad at me for posting this lol.

Ever since the first release the training of slaves got simplified... originally you had to build up both authority and than loyality (requiring both Kind and Cruel actions, the difference is completly useless currently)... now you need to farm loyality points in order to unlock favors (Seduce skill is overpowering against all other options).
You can get an abundance of resources by walking through Dungeons and as of late numerous slaves.
Crafted Items are eternal, there is no decay or durability.

There is litterally no incestancy to build a Harem that focuses on doing stuff around the house or crafting.
In the first game you had cleanliness to upkeep, keep captured slaves in a Dungeon to break their resistance and potentially train them to become civiliced. (required a Warden with the Trainer specialisation)
Exploration took Stamina so you regulay had to return home to rest.

Simply said the game is far to easy and barely qualifies as more than a Dungeon crawler at this point.

Looking at current trands with AI stuff this game easily can be upgraded with generated arts/characters. I'm not telling that arts in this game is bad but, on my taste, generated with stable diffusion looks better

"A tech demo of sequel for Strive for Power. This game represents core changes and mechanics of the second game, but does not represent main gameplay focus or content and should be treated as rough ideas."

How should i take this then, is it not a game and i rather should play strive for power? i didn't test any of the two yet but that summary left me puzzled.

The description hasn't really changed since the first test release. Things have come on a long way since then.

That said, play SFP if you want - they're both good games.

I would say that Strive for power is the better game in gameplay and in modablity still. however Conquest has the better storyline and a more advances interface. they are both good. just depends on if you prioritize story or sandbox.

I liked the story of power and didn't play conquest till now,
because of the disclaimer

So this is not true anymore and we have a lot of story? :)

Kinda.
I'm more miffed that the interactions feel sterile. Your slaves feel sterile.
Zero reason on getting raped. Zero reaction of getting pregnant. No stress. No reaction to incest. Some roles/classes totally useless. Fixed pregnancy chance + infinite cum = baby apocalypse. "Unlocking" baby keeping and pregnancy trough loyalty? That's f*** stupid!

I'm Not a moder by any means so I surely don't know for sure. But I do know a bit of coding. I can make stuff in strive whereas I don't even know where to begin in this. I also haven't seen any mods of this game wheras strive for power I see a ton of mods for many of which have ongoing updates. Subjective opinion all around. and not a very informed one.

Can someone help me?? I already finalized the second act (or at least I'm right after enslaving Heleviel), and can't really do anything else... Don't know if there is more story after that as of now, but Amelia's (that should activate after Act I) nor Cali's event activates, no matter how much time passes, so I wanted to ask if someone can tell what's wrong and if it can be repaired.

Also, not gonna lie, I cheated, but only to add money and items, because I actually played this game at full a few time and got tired of needing to reset EVERYTING after each update that changed a core aspect of the game. And while I have both Heleviel and Lira on this save, I did that using the "import save" function (got Lira, reseted the story and got Heleviel), so that isn't really "cheating" per se.

If for some strange reason having used the "import save" function is what broke it, I have a back up from before initiating the attack on the Elven Capital the first time (when I chose to side with Heleviel), so there's that, but I would like keep this one if possible.

EDIT: Corrected Amelia's names.

They are on the itch.io forum. There's barely a handful and I think the only one of real note at the moment is SFCRevamp. There is a modding guide on there.

You're at the end of the game. And you're also at a spot I think might still be bugged. And any time I enslaved Heleviel, my game soft locked and wouldn't let me do anything.

Also, who cares. Cheat away. It's a single player game.

Oh, ok, but even then I find strange that Amelia's event does not activate, given that it should have after Act I, long before Heleviel enslavement (and I skiped a lot of days before progresing expecting it to trigger).

Okay, I'm just going to be honest here, I have no idea who the fuck Amanda is. That's why I mostly just ignore that part of your post.

There's no Amanda in the event data or wiki.

okay that makes more sense lol

I hate to say this, but like, the last couple versions have just been buggy like that. You can usually fix it, but you have to know where to dig into the files. The timed quests are much harder to fix, but all of Amelia's quests are easy enough to sort through.

So Amelia's got two real quests, the silk quest and the herb quest

Here's how you fix the silk one:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

For the herb quest, it's a lot more tricky. The quest trigger for the herb quest is just 'the day after the mayor_election_finished quest is done (aka, the day after you finish Act 1)

It also has a secondary requirement; the silk quest needs to be completed.

So if you haven't done the silk quest, that's why the herb quest isn't starting.

There's a bunch of complicated bullshit you'd have to do to reset quest states for this one, and all of them risk blowing up your save file. The easiest thing you can do is make sure "amelia_herbs_start" isn't in the seen events list in your save file, and then wait a day (assuming you did the silk quest and you've finished act 1)
