Would you give legal advice for game developers? Just for the love of the sport, I mean.Love this game, but there are quite a few parts where suspension of disbelief is difficult. Gonna inline spoiler a few examples from this update: Reyna said she signed the prenup while drunk at a bar. Contracts cannot be legally entered by anyone in an altered state of mind, thus the prenup would be void, and whoever the notary public was that notarized it would risk losing their license.
Reyna also never had sex with her husband(or allowed him to touch her at all), which means their marriage was never consummated, which means she could have simply gotten an annulment, which would also void the worthless prenup, and allow her to keep the house she was gifted. In the best-case scenario, they may have been together long enough to constitute a common law marriage, which, depending on local laws, could entitle her to half of everything he earned while they were together, and again, voids any prenuptial agreements.
In any case, if Cassie were any kind of skilled lawyer, she'd have thrown that prenup out the window the moment she learned that Reyna was drunk when signing it, and taken douchebag for every cent she could squeeze out of him, including alimony payments.
Reyna's husband also stated that he could bribe some of the jurors if they went to court, but divorce courts don't have a jury.
