Those AI animations are looking downright creepy....yikes! Yet another textbook case of taking a nearly flawless game and tossing it into the digital dumpster. Some devs these days... I mean, what s the deal? What happened to art, creativity, and a sprinkle of imagination? Where s the hustle, the heart, the love for the little details? Good grief, Devs—craft your art with your BRAIN, not a lazy prompt.... The Game is NOT recommended...anymore! Stop the rework and continue the old version!

*sigh* It's cuntstunts like this that make it really fucking hard to justify paying for a game before it is 100% completed.
10 minutes of playing from the start, and then a quick peruse of the images directory, reveals what a shitshow the dev has created with this "remake". Most of the new models are awful compared to the originals, and the whole feel of the game is--as many have already commented--off.
This game was one of the best of its kind but I will not bother continuing with this iteration. Such a shame.

I don't like remakes, they just waste more time instead of working on a new episode, now who knows when there will be a new episode, it's already quite tedious, the time it takes for updates in the games, it's a shame

I've been following this thread for a couple days while playing the update. I'm familiar with the old version and I was a fan. I have to call bullshit on the page turners, remake and AI haters that seem to have proliferated. The story is clearer, more concise and better than before. The grammar is still marginal in places, but not bad at all compared to some. Many renders appear to have been redone, changed or added and I will say, overall, they're an improvement. Finally, the animations in the old version were not even close to the quality in the remake. They're not even in the same league. It's like comparing high school baseball to the pros. There aren't 10% of high school players who can even see a 100 mph fastball, let alone hit it. The same thing applies here. I don't think most of the naysayers have even looked.

It's interesting. I haven't gotten around to playing the remake yet and of all the people that have commented on it, yours is the only one I take seriously

I've been playing the new version as well while reading all sorts of crazy ramblings... I agree with you. It's better. The start is more solid. The story and characters seem more polished and visually cohesive. You can see the dev has been working.
AI as a development tool it's here to stay and the sooner the devs grasp how to use it, the sooner everyone else will start benefiting from it. Haters will hate, that's all they can do...
He seems to be one of the very few who got it!

The developer did at least announce they were going to remake some of the game directly after Ep.6C, but they only said they were redoing the character to match the rest of the episodes. They never said they were reworking everything and remaking animations with AI and the entire game with AI.
I'm glad I stopped supporting after the remake announcement, the rework made the game way worse, I think.
I'm one of the ones who say the game as a "whole" was just fine the way it was before they "thought" it needed a remake.
I sure hope the people who are paying for it also feel the same way most of the people here do as well.
