Literally "use this game currency to watch this scene". No context why is the scene happening, no dialogue, just switches to a short mp4 vid they put into the game, a game that looks like something they normally sell for 5$. It has Less scenes than a single artist releases in year. A full team of people with over a million in budget and still growing. This is in developement for almost 5y, was supposed to be out in full around 2019, still alpha version.
I feel sorry for everyone that put money into it.
Now they can pretend they did something and ignore the people for the next 2 years.

Yeah the script and the characters are really good but the porn is definitely lacking

Personally, I kinda like it, though i'm unsure if i'll like it a month or so from now. The idea of tying the actual porn to game progression is a pretty neat idea, and was probably an effect of the studio trying to make a game first. I'm personally unsure if they ever said anything about a full launch in 2019, but that may have been due in part to how they planned on a scaled down version of the game before the kickstarter blew up. Still though, it's a far more complete package in terms of music/voice/polish than any game on this site in my opinion, even if there isn't that much content in the game at the moment. I'm personally disappointed we only get a third of the game after 2 years, but if the quality of what we have is indicative of the entire game, I don't mind waiting

To the surprise of no one, the game's main selling point is shit. I knew this was going to happen and am not surprised at all once they said they weren't doing any of their hardcore content.

Hey Thanks for the Mega link, just a heads up since it surprised me when doing some downloads, two of the Doujin's Whats in the Box and Subverse Trojan Horse end in a . so it confuses Windows if you download the entire folder, took me a while to figure out what the problem was when i downloaded them since they downloaded fine but then I could not open the folder.

Yeah. Subverse so far ain't looking too hot, hopefully they're hiding the good stuff for the full release.
Anyway.
What's next for Studio FOW? I hope they go back to longer porn animations with some story and exposition sprinkled in between. I feel that's where their strengths lie and they reign surpreme.

I hope they improve it rather than let it die, because if it flops there will be no movies in the future

I don't get how people are hopeful that FOW will get back to doing animations like they used to.
They've been making more money out of Subverse than they ever did, and it isn't even done. So far it has raving reviews on steam for some reason, so they'll be making even more money. If they ever do finish it, they'll probably just make another game.
Seems like an easier way to earn a living, compared to working on long animations while dodging C&D letters from copyright owners and worrying about which platform will ban them next.

Because supposedly the only reason they made the game was because they were trying to learn a new software program. Which would allow them be able to make better quality films. Also supposedly there's plans for movies already in place. Scarlet Nights 2. Possibly another Kunochi Trilogy or more in that series. As well as a couple of things.

My bad, I'm on Linux so I don't have such issue (which mean I wasn't aware of that).
The problem is: I used a throw away Mega Account, so I can't edit but I think if you use a download manager who recognize Mega link, you should be able to get rid of this issue.
"supposedly" being the key word here. Even if that was the original reason, things can change when your "training project" is suddenly your biggest cash cow. The game doesn't even use a lot of cinematics, and the actual porn cinematics aren't any better than their old ones, worse actually - just simple, short loops.
As for their planned projects, they had planned projects that were abandoned even before the game was announced. So it wouldn't be the first time they cancel some project due to priorities.

That is one of the planned movies they'll eventually get back to. Scarlet Nights is intended to have sequels (focusing on Catwoman, Ivy, and Batgirl.)
