I don't know, the models rigid3d andd nyl2 are using don't really fit.
Besides, you do know how much time they need to do even one animation?
It takes them months for an over 1 minute animation without cheap motion looping. Even short under 1 minute clips need weeks.
They also need to learn how to use a new programm, if it is required in a colab, e.g. you specialize in sfm, are a god and you almost never see any typical sfm clipping and switch to blender/maya, etc. that alone takes forever. Then you need even more time to polish your skills ->work.

Quick question, do we know what engine they'll use for subverse?

edit: I don't actually know how long they need. Just remembered an almost daily post of an animator who showed his progress on a work and the work behind it. At least I for sure can't deliver short clips even weekly.

They said there are 6 systems with like 500 planets each and 2/3rds will have a level or mission of some sort, maybe they should cut down to like 150 levels per system and focus on what 95% of the people playing the game came for which is porn

You're welcome to think whatever you wish, but until they actually release details about it we can't say anything for certain, so until then assuming things won't get us anywhere.

This is a game with sex, akin to Mass Effect. If they wanted to make just sex, they'd just keep making movies (which they're going to anyway).

No one cares about the game part though, besides kick starter backers, the only people that will look at this game on the steam page will be people that want to beat their meat

Sounds like they might end up disappointed then. But, again, for the umpteenth time, we still haven't seen how the pandora system works. If you folks don't know what happens when you assume, you should really look it up.

Yeah I wouldn't speak for other people. Just going off comments on the initial trailer and previews, folks are looking forward to having an adult game that is actually substantial in content, not just something to fap to for 5 minutes.

If I want a quick fap, I'd just look into other 3d porn animators that have also been named in this thread.
Do you know how much I'd imaginatively give to play a fullfledged Metroid game where I can fuck Sam Ara!? Or even Fire Emblem, sure just put the game difficulty into lunatic+, I'd play the shit out of it just to fuck her holiness the Archbishop Rhea or the Child from the Future Lucina.
Besides people back them up, exactly because they want a Game with porn, not Porn with games.

They can't show lewd stuff in the backer update. It just isn't allowed by KS, so yeah it would be 90/10 on that.

The exceptions are the Zelda project (Royal Treatment) Sylvanas's short (Coronation), and Arena of Depravity/Coliseum of Lust

Also their very first movie was Lara in Trouble, Yrel was like their 3rd project, after Lara and the first Kunoichi.

I belive there is one movie missing on the list. I think it was an extra episode for Bioshag Trinity
called "Bioshag Trinity - Portal Pooch".

Damn, nice catch, I checked the "short" and "interactive" folder and while I have the "Spotted" bonus, I don't have that one (and it isn't listed on their website).

Need to do a bit of research.
