Stormside did not die "for" this game, Stormside would have been dead anyway. He did not stop Stormside to work on this game, he stopped Stormside because the project was too big after all.

I'll miss Stormside but I'm glad the dev learned his lesson in trying to do too much. He's very talented and working with a smaller cast of characters makes it far easier to manage. Especially if he does delve into branches of the story via choices if it's just 3 to 5 love interests.

I was already liking the 0.1 version but this one has been incredible, the characters are interesting and likeable, animation are great and i've been really into the story (very unique) and writing. Not a once of boredom, waiting for more in the near future

I've never downloaded a game so fast upon seeing a new version release.

Been waiting for this and it delivers.

The Aida story line is perfect and while it does move away from the original premise of the game and story itself it builds on it well. It will be interesting to see where the dev takes this, if the camgirl aspect returns in part 3 or not - which honestly was a big draw to the game, but the Aida storyline, which is hotter imo, doesn't need it really.

The blackmail/stalker storyline almost appears dropped, but likely returns later, maybe? I'm curious where it'll go, but those elements never really add much for me, even if I do like story and with this one I read all the dialogue not sped through.

One change I'd recommend is to lose the notice that they are speaking (in Russian) while I think it's meant as a way to convey that the MC can't understand what they are saying, it doesn't really look right.

From Patreon membership numbers so far, I believe it's safe to say that Atemsiel has turned the corner and moved into a new chapter with Studio Hearts.

Paid numbers were the lowest in July 2025 right before the Stormside abandonment announcement in August 2025. Surprisingly not only was there no massive exodus, the numbers have slowly creep up following Studio Hearts's launch (barring the usual slowing between version updates) and with the new V0.2 I believe the paid membership is now at ~250.

This is quite encouraging considering his peak was 427 during Stormside's hey days. Despite the poor customer engagement and disappointment, his supporters have been relatively sticky and seem to have accepted the transition to Studio Hearts readily.

Now he just needs to churn out proper updates regularly and not repeat that disappearance shit.

There's something about his dev style that's extremely compelling. Not just the animations and drawn out (hot as fuck) sex scenes. But little things like the vibrating phone when he gets a message he needs to read. It's just top production value all round and extremely impressive.

Stormside was beloved and for good reason, but it's clear that it was too ambitious a project for a solo dev. That said Studio Hearts is shaping up to be a fantastic follow up. Story wise I'm not personally a fan of the cam girl plotline but it's been written well enough that I can kinda get behind it. What really stands out is Atemsiel's direction when it come to crafting sex scenes, he's up there with the creator of Pale Carnations in my book. The flow, the tension, the dialogue(for the most part), is all top tier. I thought this was true in Stormside but this is better due to the virtue of Atemsiel clearly honing his skills in his absence. If I had the cash I'd sub to the Patreon, I was completely satisfied but this update and can't wait to see what he does next.

I understand that Atemsiel bit off more than he could chew with Stormside, but this game feels like an overreaction in terms of scope management. Texting and the camming website take up such a big chunk of the game that I can't help but view them as a cost-cutting measure.

The MC is also a massive dweeb. It's been three months since he moved to a cheap Asian country, he lives in a rooftop penthouse with its own pool, his job is all about getting to know local bigwigs. What kind of hobby does he pick up to meet more of them (and fuck local socialites)? Horseback riding? Golfing? Maybe it's big game hunting? Attending art exhibitions and charity events? Nah, he prefers to moderate a chatroom full of international degenerates.

The MC and the direction of this whole thing just feels a little forced. Mila feels like she should be a side character if anything, a bloke just moving into a penthouse and moving in circles like that would find his prospects shifting rather quickly, and while he might still fancy Mila that relationship is very one sided, what's he actually getting from Mila other than an opportunity to simp hard?

She has a boyfriend when he first falls for her while she's camming, that whole time he's simping for her and all alone, he's done nothing but masturbate to her, hasn't slept with anyone during that time. It's a sort of strange one way relationship where only the MC knows about it, he's committed to her already while she has no clue he even exists besides an online/work/stalker/friend to chat to and is in a relationship.

Then when he moves up in the world all he does is continue to obsess over the same girl while she's getting protection from him, rescued by him, a free place to live, all her troubles magicked away and so on. And apparently he has literally nothing else happening in his life except running around simping for her.

I feel like there should be some real world interactions with women he meets in the real world, maybe someone a bit more interesting with something to offer back too...

Mila is cute... but not that cute, and I can't really understand the level of obsession the MC has with her. And modding the chatroom while a sort of entertaining minigame is really just micromanaging hundreds of blokes jerking off to the woman he's devoted to.

Can't say I find the scenes with her that sexy either. The dareline game wasn't great enough to stop the description of doggystyle with previous blokes and how quickly they came in her from putting me off, but hey eternum just dropped so it's not like I don't have choices.

See i don't see any 'obsessing'. There are plenty of genuine simps on camsites and god are they creepy, but they're exactly the people a camgirl wouldn't feel safe talking to.

Camgirls chatroom can actually weirdly turn into 'communities' of sorts, where people just come back regularly to chill out (and yes jack off). But generally it only really works with the lower level girls because there's more downtime and less spam. I get that it may sound a bit weird, but if you've got the money there's something that scratches that itch about paying someone to 'perform' for you.
